It's the same way as any extended series tournament. MLG is not retarded at all about this particular point. Every single player has to lose 2 sets to be eliminated, the player coming from the winner's bracket has lost none, while the one coming from the loser's bracket has. Therefore, one player has to win 2 sets while the other has to win only 1. It's they way it has always been, and it makes sense. It is incredibly stupid. When players meet in a new bo3 past results shouldn't matter. This way they are playing the final on unequal setting and MVP mitght win only due to being in the winners bracket even if MMA wins the first series and should have won the tournament, The whole seeding system is so poorly designed giving some players an incedibly big advantage, while newcomers are having a hard time getting anywhere in the tournament. | ||
