Cool you guys are doing this! I always thought it was odd how little Blizzard advertises in Japan when I lived there. I'm curious, do they even have SC2 on shelves in Japan? Or are all players forced to buy other region versions online somehow?

Btw, to answer question above me I saw this on their community page, could be applicable:

SC2JC で開催するイベントは全て USサーバー で行います。

This tournament is played on NA Server.
Because of sponsored issue, the participates are limited to the people stay in Japan.

Thanks for the responses! Yes, the tournament will be played on the NA Server.

And btw, HUGE thanks to matsujun for organizing this tournament! He is the man behind the Japanese SC2 community, and will be organizing / producing the stream. Arigatou!

I think I'm just as interested in hearing Japanese commentary as seeing their metagame. Too bad one of the weeks conflicts with MLG Anaheim/GSL Finals/EVO.

I live in Tokyo and can do the English commentating for the next event. Sorry I missed this one. I participated in one event earlier this year and had a blast with Matsujin's crew even though I went 0 ad 3 against a bunch of Masters.

I sent an email and you can PM me next here next time as well.

宜しくお願いします。
