ROFL, Goddy didn't even realize about the Carriers till there were 7 that Ace managed to get off 1 Stargate and they still couldn't break him, such a bad unit

I have to agree, it's kind of weird that people are throwing away their shot at being the #1 seed in the tournament, but that's an issue with the way the open bracket player is seeded against the #1 seed. That player is likely to be stronger than the 15th seed from divisional play, particularly in these earlier seasons. I think there should always be some incentive to win, of course, that may have robbed us of the MC vs SeleCT games, but it also would have kept us from the waste of time that was July vs Moman.
I think it would be best as someone suggested if the players in the 1-8th spot were allowed to choose their opponent from 9-16th in order down from the 1st Seed, so the first seed would basically get to choose anyone 9-16, and the 8th seed would be paired with whoever was left over from 9-16 that wasn't picked.
