You're my saviour!

We will be moderating harshly in this thread. Think twice before you post. Things we are watching for: image macros, balance whining, "eagles", player bashing etc. We encourage civil and reasoned critique of our moderation - please post it in the website feedback forum. Please don't complain about MLG stream quality or MLG itself. They work very hard to provide you with an enjoyable service. Enough with the racism discussions, this is a LR Thread. Cut it out. -- updated 7:55 KST

To be fair all the protoss players other than those two are really not very good compared to a lot of zergs and terrans. Like how there never used to be any good Zergs right ^_^ Partly due to map pool as well, you don't have some of the GSL maps where it's very easy to secure a third for the Toss player. Also my favorite protoss, HasuObs and Socke could not attend. Socke would have even been seated into pool play. Does that mean that in the next MLG Socke will have to go thourgh the open bracket or will he keep his "pool spot" ? He'll most likely have to go through the open bracket. It's unfortunate that Socke wasn't here to defend his spot but it's understandable that he chose the EPS Finals. Still, it means that he's that much more unlikely to be in the MLG end-of-the-year finals since going through the OB isn't an easy task. Gretorp got his spot this time. But Socke at least won the EPS finals and is richer now :D From now on i hope Naniwa or MMA wins, cause i really want to see one of them in Code S and those are willing to go and not yet there.

Yeah there are no Eastern European players here. Whould've been much more epic with them. True, would love to see Whitera and Kas. Any idea why they arent there? Kas and Dimaga might have Visa problems, apart from that i don't think Empire has the money to send over all their great players. The average earnings of a Ukrainian are about 280$ per month. Someone really needs to sign Kas, its a real shame he isnt supported like say Haypro for example.

Seems a bit bland with everyone using the same stuff, it's like starcraft with one race. Because there are set dominant perks / weapons for different skill sets The weapons in Black Ops aren't exactly balanced. If you play to win there is no reason to use inferior weapons. Though Call of Duty has become a joke anyways... (I miss you, CoD1 and 2). Thats exactly what i said, the general slayers will be using the famas, and the objective players will be using 74us.

At least in TSL3 he had a epic comeback of 1-3 to 4-3!

Select is sooo good yet because he got placed in a group that was 10000x harder than any other group he gets such a hard run. If he was in another group I think we would be seeing him top 10 ![]() There was way too much starpower in group 3. Thats just how the seeds work out when seeds are not accurate with how the MLG format is. Select went 0-5 in group play, but everyone would agree he is a much better player then most of the players who finished 2-4 th in the other groups. You cant argue that the players in group 1 and 4 was pretty god damn lucky. Gretorp was kinda a walkover for every player, drewbie aint very good, slush/fenix is allright and they got the worst of the koreans aswell. So yes, I feel pretty terrible for the players who didnt do well in group 3, cus they had an extreamly hard time compared to the other groups. Yea the whole MLG system is designed to allow as little movement as possible. It's quite sickening. Not only the whole group system but the way they seed after the groups into the bracket play makes it super hard for movement since you just playing the same people you have played before thus you have an uphill battle in an extended series against them. It's so terrible it actually makes me super angry. How anyone can condone this kind of unfair system is ridiculous. yep...it is pretty brutal. MLG is horribly inflexible on their choices when it comes to structure though. The notion that the extended series rule made it through an offseason and is still here is disgraceful and the rest of the tournament structure is equally as embarrassing.
