Okay we're going to start cracking down on people bashing players for no reason. You don't have to like every player, but at least show some respect. (as of page 402)

The Koreans have done well. But anyone who has been watching these games (especially MMO vs Sjow) realizes that a number of these games could have easily gone the other way. The Koreans are ahead, but maybe a half step ahead.

That's ok he will still be seeded next MLG!!!

Thank god for this format.

This can't be true. Seriously?

If gretorp can win at least 1 series in the championship rounds, yes he will STILL be seeded.

..... Well that is pretty stupid.

LOL couldn't agree more

That is far from a gurentee though it is probably true. You have to remember anyone that he plays in the championship round has the same chance to beat him and take his spot though as well. So if someone wants his spot they have to take it which seems fair to me.

Actually, I think he needs to win 2 series to survive. Not 100% sure, someone correct me please.

This sounds right, previously he would've had to win only 1 but now we have invites taking up 4 slots

To be fair, it was Thorzain who suggested that possibility in the interview. He didnt remember than the result still matters in case they meet again tho.

The one with the blond girl and the phone is pretty awesome as well. With the boob stabbing and the Tripple kill motherfuckers.

Really? I found that one really low and shallow.
She doesn't even have large breasts .__.

LOL, you don't need a super hot and attractive girl with big boobs to make a good commercial...

Well they always make the commercial better

I don't mind the girl. It is so absurd. I love absurd commercials. Playing against herself and then stabbing herself in the boobs while saying it in the most monotome voice. Absurd. And funny.

I agree, I think they were definitely trying to make the commercial funny instead of just having eye candy playing around with their phone.

So at the end of championship pool play, final tally on Korea vs. The World (I've been keeping track since the start)

Moon: 3 - 2
MMA: 5 - 0
July: 4 - 0 (his loss was to a korean)
MC: 4 - 1
Losira: 5 - 0

Koreans: 21 - 3

If you take into account that Moon isn't even good enough for Code A, and that MC said he was extremely jet lagged against grack, I think we can end the argument here. The gap IS huge.

Korea FIGHTIN!! ^^;

Well Moon is an average korean and he lost a bit. And the other 4 are without a doubt 4 of the very best players in Korea. If these guys were only playing 4 of the top top top foreigners e.g. IdrA, Thorzain, Nani and Whitera, I'm sure the results would be fairly balanced. The koreans are playing people who are not on their level and not the best the foreign scene have to offer. Ofcourse all of these code s calibre players are pwning random foreigners, but the best of the best are still fairly equal in my opinion.

Uh, no. The foreigners you mentioned are the best of the best foreigners. The Koreans sent to MLG are 2nd tier (-MC) compared to the likes of MVP and especially Nestea.

Nice try though...

MMA, Losira and July are not second tier.

MMA is not as good as Bomber, MVP, and MKP. July and Losira are nowhere near as good as Nestea.

this guy has scientifically ranked charts of all the korean players. he does interviews with them and has them play each other daily.

ok annoying me now. I like how people are only counting the GSL invited koreans. Moonan went 0-5 and Select went 0-5.

Let's be honest it's not really fair to count Moonan and Select as Koreans as they don't live in Korea in a team house. You're implying that the reason Moonan and Select are great players is because they are Korean which is obviously not the reason Koreans are good.
Apologize.

Quit making excuses for Koreans. Freaking hate this. First its the server lags from cross country, then MLG decides to fly Koreans over for LAN, BUT NOOOOO That's not good enough for you. Now they have jet lag. Freaking deal with it. Top foreigners can easily take out Koreans, they aren't fucking Gods.

How about instead of saying he's making excuses, you could give hard concrete evidence that contradicts his. I encourage you to go find proof of similar foreign dominance against Koreans in a LAN setting. I'm sorry but as this tournament has shown, MID TIER KOREANS > TOP FOREIGNERS

GSL world champs? where korea wins by 1 and that one person is nestea who before that had never droped a ZvZ on tv? ya id say thats good proof that they are even

Isn't that the series where San massed carriers?

Its fun how ju count MMAs win against July but not Julys loss.... anyways 20-3 is still pretty awsome

It kinda went how it was expected to go though it went pretty awesome for the Koreans. The way I see it only 3 people at MLG (in the pool play) have a shot at taking down MMA July MC and Losira. Those 3 are Naniwa, Idra and Thorzain. Idra and Nani won there groups and Thorzain was in Idras group. Now I know other players have a shot at taking a Bo3 off of them (Sjow who should have beaten MMA and Morrow if he can get out of the Losers Bracket) but lets not pretend they sent over just anyone

MMA has possibly the best TvT in Korea and has shown that he can crush high level zergs as well. MC is the best protoss in Korea without question. Losira is probably the 2nd best zerg is korea and if hes not the 2nd best then Julyzerg is. So the only people who can beat the top koreans are the top non koreans.

a certain someone named nestea might wanna disagree with you about being the number one zerg player in Korea >=/
