Okay we're going to start cracking down on people bashing players for no reason. You don't have to like every player, but at least show some respect. (as of page 402)

Is anyone else really worried about FXO in the GSTL? They didn't exactly put up a good showing this time in the MLG.

I think we might get one more match as they are supposed to do one more round in the Championship Losers Bracket where the 6th place pool players play against the survivors from the Open Bracket.

So at the end of championship pool play, final tally on Korea vs. The World (I've been keeping track since the start)

Moon: 3 - 2
MMA: 5 - 0
July: 4 - 0 (his loss was to a korean)
MC: 4 - 1
Losira: 5 - 0

Koreans: 21 - 3

If you take into account that Moon isn't even good enough for Code A, and that MC said he was extremely jet lagged against grack, I think we can end the argument here. The gap IS huge.

Korea FIGHTIN!! ^^;

Well Moon is an average korean and he lost a bit. And the other 4 are without a doubt 4 of the very best players in Korea. If these guys were only playing 4 of the top top top foreigners e.g. IdrA, Thorzain, Nani and Whitera, I'm sure the results would be fairly balanced. The koreans are playing people who are not on their level and not the best the foreign scene have to offer. Ofcourse all of these code s calibre players are pwning random foreigners, but the best of the best are still fairly equal in my opinion.

Uh, no. The foreigners you mentioned are the best of the best foreigners. The Koreans sent to MLG are 2nd tier (-MC) compared to the likes of MVP and especially Nestea.

Nice try though...

You calling July and Losira second tier?

Actually think Idra might have a chance with MMA. MMA's trick is dropship play and (thorzain game being an exception) Idra is very good defending this. JulyZerg wasn't adequately protecting his bases with spine crawlers vs MMA...but Idra is different. If he suspects drop play he absolutely gets spines. The spines will either tank the damage until muta/ling arrives or do enough damage to make the drops economic not viable.

Ah, thats cool that you don't have to be an American citizen to be an American, didnt know this, thanks for letting me know.

Guess MC is an American for the weekend.

I don't understand your logic here at all.

You must be stupid if you think staying in the US for a day is the same as staying in the US for a month. That's my logic, genius....

And no problem. Good that you know now.

kinda stupid imo.. If a mod went through this thread to clean up the bullshit there would probably be a couple hundred bans.

Is there any more matches tonight?:D

IIRC if someone who wins MLG is already at code A, the runner up gets the invite and so on. So in case of a july vs mc finals, the third place would take Code A.

I've sorta wondered if Idra would take a Code A invite, if he qualified through MLG.
