But just quitting because you are so far behind is disrespectful to viewers and organizers. He is occupying a place of a player who would be happy to show up at least. Why is it disrespectful? He doesn't play anymore and hasn't practiced hard for a while. Any game he plays at this state is gonna be a complete roflstomp, where's the fun in that? You could definitely argue it was wrong for him to quit practicing in the middle of a league, but that's done now and with his current form it doesn't serve anyone (himself, the fans, and the organizers) any good to keep playing. Painuser wasn't a bad player tho, it would be nice to see him start to practice again at some point. It's disrespectful to the league tbf that gave him a very sought after spot. Like I said, it was probably a bad decision to stop practicing halfway through a league but that's done now. At this state I don't think painuser's appearance benefits anyone. But yea, definitely, should have not fully committed to casting during a tournament though. I know players like Thorzain and nightend would have killed for a spot in the nasl.

Blame the NASL for inviting him in the first place. Why? Painuser was pretty deserving of his spot results wise, he had just come off two strong MLG finishes and was considered a top NA Terran on par with or above guys like Drewbie. He hadn't shown any of this flaky behavior previously, without the benefit of hindsight he was a solid invite. He's the one who screwed them by no showing twice in the later rounds of the tournament, and if he truly has quit he deserves all the blame and flak he gets. This tbf. You can't blame the NASL for picking him. He was one of their least controversial picks. Only the player is to blame for his behaviour and actions.

Yeah I get that midgame Zerg aggression to stop the Toss from ever getting it is what you're going to say to me, but it really seems like if Toss plays defensively, and well enough, he doesn't really have anything to fear from it. But Infestors got buffed ![]() But if this defensive style was working, who has actually won with it recently? ^^? Not to mention if anyone tries to turtle that hard they get the Cruncher treatment Defensive? Um I can defend all I want but when I move out and fungal keeps my army from moving while banelings come in idk what I'm supposed to do lol :p Well obviously you didn't turtle hard enough^^ It's like the circle of Zerg QQ though Cry about "boring/easy" defensive play in every LR thread -> Protoss losses: Gets told they didn't play defensively enough -> Say match up Favors Protoss when Zerg are winning more than Protoss recently despite it somehow being easier to play Protoss (according to them) -> Trololololol

I wonder if not having a team/manager is playing any part in the situation (someone to hold him accountable)? I'd say this is an indication of him planning on giving up playing and trying to focus solely on caster, more than anything.. Can't imagine too many teams that would risk their time on someone who is starting to get the reputation of being flaky..
