Yeah I get that midgame Zerg aggression to stop the Toss from ever getting it is what you're going to say to me, but it really seems like if Toss plays defensively, and well enough, he doesn't really have anything to fear from it.

protoss deathball was never a deathball, it was zerg invention to get protoss nerfed,
zerg never realized that the protoss army was 10x more expensive, and called it imba.

Tbh, I don't think Painuser was much of a contender for either of them. I never thought he wasn't an underdog. I think it's disrespectful of course, take his beatings where they're due. But at worst, Zenio/Boxer might've dropped a game tops due to lag.

I think that the NASL would benefit from hiring some professionals to work with their business, at least in the production aspects of it. The league has SO MUCH potential, with good games, good casting, and an interesting league format, but everything else is lacking in so many ways. I wish that they'd acquire a more skilled staff, so that there aren't silly, haphazard segments of the broadcasts, with stream failures and all-around poorly implemented pieces of the show.

In the meantime, I wish the Zerg players would stop QQing. They have now infestors, which are better than templars. That's it, stick to "amazing macro", and you will outproduce and do fine against Protoss, unless you are worse.

Why is it disrespectful? He doesn't play anymore and hasn't practiced hard for a while. Any game he plays at this state is gonna be a complete roflstomp, where's the fun in that? You could definitely argue it was wrong for him to quit practicing in the middle of a league, but that's done now and with his current form it doesn't serve anyone (himself, the fans, and the organizers) any good to keep playing.

Painuser wasn't a bad player tho, it would be nice to see him start to practice again at some point.

True. I feel like the only paid sc2 thing that's been worth it so far is GSL really. Both MLG and NASL has had major hiccups in their casts.

I didn't pay for either of them so I can't complain too much but it's sad that the two big league/tournament are able to bring the best players, best prize pools and some of the best games, but aren't able to show them.
