Replace Gretorp with Idra and have Idra/incontrol and NASL would be the best. Or just get rid of gretorp and it would be good. The incontrol/idra casting yesterday was great.

I dont see how anyone can like gretorp's casting, it is the absolute worst casting I've seen.

User was warned for this post
Proud supporter of replacing Gretorp as a caster for NASL.

Saying it was because of SeleCT's mistakes is equal to saying he would've won if he played perfectly, so it isn't really a valid way to explain his loss. Both players made mistakes. Ret just played better. Ret could've played perfectly to fend off the bunker pressure, and then he wouldn't have to baneling bust to win the game.

I'm not a fan of Idra's play nor his behaviour on the internet but i actually do love his commentary. He has a great insightfull, relaxed casting stile. Really enjoying it.

Over and over I ask myself why this map is in the pool. There is simply no real answer to forcefields.

International:

TvZ: 20-23 (46.5%)
ZvP: 21-14 (60%)

Korean:

TvZ: 4-5 (44.4%)
ZvP: 6-5 (54.5%)

Zerg holds a winning record in every matchup in basically every league in that map. Can we drop the bullshit Zerg vs. Crossfire line of thought? There are more maps in the pool that are shitty for terran than for zerg.

When you get a bigger sample size over a longer period of time, sure.

The stats is not enough to conclude that Z has no disadvantage on this map, but I think we could observe how 50ish percent of Z managed to overcome their opponents on this map. Any good Z will incorporate those strategies with their gameplay.

Well considering the counter argument is "Crossfire is imbalanced against Zerg" you have to show at least SOME evidence for that statement. Unfortunately you can't because the only evidence available shows a favorable win % for Zerg. Sorry, but the "map is balanced" argument wins here.

I should have put it more clearly. We cannot conclude anything about Crossfire's balance.
We cannot derive any meaningful statistics because the sample size is way too small (about 100.) But any zerg imbalance whiners out there should attempt to observe how other zergs win on Crossfire and improve themselves on that, instead of trying to argue "since the sample size is small, 50ish% Z win is not meaningful, therefore Crossfire is imbalanced" No, that's just flawed logic.

Not sure if the recommended games are worth going by. Has the quality of games today been higher than the previous ones this week?

For the record, I like the previous format for recommended where instead of the poll, there was a small snippet of info about the exceptional games/what made them exceptional. A simple recommended/not recommended doesn't really convey enough information.
