Immortals are good against small mech groups, once you get a mid-sized or large mech army, immortals become virtually useless. Siege tanks just bring them down too quick, and hellions tank all their damage (and hellion groups bring their shields down quick too). Not to mention thors, which actually beat immortals 1v1 not counting strike cannon. Hell, having 25 immortals (100 supply worth of pure immortals) would do almost nothing. Protoss has one counter to a large mech ball: carriers.

How can it be a spoiler if the game is cast before the interview?

Although, mech is less viable after the patch due to thors being countered by HTs. If they where spaced out and there wasn't any ghosts out then yeah they would. but the problem is that there is and they never are. The counter to Mech is protoss air. You can't go wrong with 20 void rays and 3 carriers.

The NASL is going by the convention that W-L (e.g. 0-5) refers to the outcomes of the bo3 matches. That is, if a person lost 5 bo3 matches then that person would have a record of 0-5. The cumulative results of the games across all bo3 are called "points" by the NASL, with +1 point for set win and -1 point for a set loss. So if a person got swept in 5 bo3 matches, then that person would have -10 points. Thus, when you say 0-10, in NASL terms that means 10 lost bo3 matches, which is impossible in 10-person groups.

And TLO is awesome ^^ He pulled in a bronze last month in the Copenhagen Games (over Morrow, I believe). He actually played pretty well in it, with the expected hiccups of still polishing his game. I think TLO is a clear favorite, but there's upset potential, for sure. Go TLO!!

The fact that everyone keeps pointing to a third place finish as evidence of his skill is pretty telling. I know, I know... It was such a "huge, tough!" tournament, like gsl...

Even then they wouldn't because Thors do relatively well vs. Immortals. 250mm pre-patch devastated Immortal groups. Protoss air is countered by vikings, so 200/200 mech should really be played with either marines or vikings.

I've seen him ladder a few times and he's still a good player. A lot better than what he's shown in the NASL which is why i'd like him to win. Just to prove to the haters that he's not as terrible as people try to make out on here. That and i have a soft spot for all good BW players :p
