Poor Artosis
He tries to improve so much on his stream, but it's obvious his mechanics aren't where they need to be with Protoss. He was a much better Zerg than this.
Also can't really see him putting 110% into this series considering he is all but eliminated from the NASL and his teammate ViBe really needed this series to stay in the running for the playoff.
Not saying he threw the match, but I'm sure the loss is tempered by the fact that ViBe will live on.

I'm in grandmaster O_O.
(I know this doesn't mean i'm better than Artosis btw and ladder doesn't really mean much)

I've watched some people stream from Korea while playing on NA servers, and the lag was only noticable if I looked for it, so it can't be _that_ bad. ANd Artosis is the fucking SC Encyclopedia - I feel liek he shoudlnt make such dumb mistakes when he obviously knows better.
Not to mention that he was a pretty damn good BW player, so his mechanics shoudl be way above acceptable levels for SC2. Why is he failing so hardcore? -.- The latency is still an issue, and he plays very early in the morning where he is. Yeah, but it's not like he recieved a call and had to play suddenly. He probably went to bed earlier, got up and warmed up a bit... etc. I just dont see those two things to be enough of an excuse for this much failure. =[
Well I'm not saying he would be winning all his games if he had better conditions. Doesn't change the fact that more latency is worse than less latency, and playing at the crack of dawn is worse (to most people) than playing in the afternoon or evening.

Time for the popularity contest: TLO vs Grubby!..who the hell do I cheer for?

200/200 mech terran army is the strongest deathball in the game, no way 50 supply kills it, unless it's 25 DT's and you didn't bother getting detection.

ARGH, who do I cheer for?! I like them both!

OK, Now I'm pulling for Artosis to go for the perfect defeated season. If the Detroit Lions can do it and win our hearts, so can he. I think his games are by far the most entertaining and enjoyable to watch. They're like their own little train wrecks - so horrible..but I just can't look away. He can be the Washington Generals (the team that always plays the Harlem Globetrotters) of the NASL.
(And fwiw, latency doesn't cause someone to go put yourself in a low-ground corner with non-blink stalkers and engage a ling/hydra army..)
Artosis HFighting!! (I'm calling Archon-centric play from him next week)

If anyone seriously thought Artosis was going to win then they obviously don't pay enough attention to care about getting spoiled anyway.

TLO.... such an easy call. Who is grubby? 0-4?

seemed artosis wanted to do that 6-7gate/robo build that anypro used on july, i remember him commenting about it. but vibe got so much scouting information and just countered perfectly. diidn't help either that he got flanked at the 3rd either.

sure it means plenty and im sure some players in here are better than him
but as i expected, you haven't made any comments like I was talking about

Artosis switched race to show the world how imba Protoss is and how much game it has versus Zerg. He sure showed us lolz.. losing 2-0 vs every zerg on the planet.

Grubby's overhyped imo. Great WC3 player but this isn't WC3. He hasn't showed many (any?) results so far in SC2.
And TLO is awesome ^^

But protoss is so EZ, dude. Anybody can pick it up in a couple weeks. (make sure your sarcasm detector is activated.)

My liquibet is TLO but man how I wish Grubby gets this (he needs it so bad imo).
