how come fixed if the brackets were different from the start? I mean I must be misunderstanding something or the picture is wrong

The brackets were wrong at first. These brackets were shown in the end of the day and even Tastosis said that they got the brackets wrong at first (where Nada and sC were playing each other) and confirmed that this bracket is in fact the right one.

Lol, you think nestea would just blindly make corruptors?

Well he saw that there was no Warpgate ready with his lings in the front so its pretty save to assume that there is heavy stargate incoming

Yeah game 1 of Nestea vs Anypro was awesome. I remember seeing that build on one of the first Funday Mondays, I believe that was the "No Queens" episode. Never seen it since then.

That game is at 98% recommended right now. Anyone know if that's the highest recommended game in GSL LR threads thus far?

Anypro also threw away a lot of phoenix to spores, and around 3 of them were in red hp from drone harass.

People think corruptors are good against void rays and phoenix. They are not. They are good vs phoenix, and cheaper than voids, but when you mix phoenix to tank the shots and voids to DPS the corruptors, it beats them pretty badly. Anypro attacked too soon with too few stargate units.

Nah corruptors beat a mix of phoenix and voids quite hard. Pure voids slightly beat corruptors but still corruptors are a fine counter as zerg can usually be economically ahead against stargate play.
Hydra's are only a fine counter if you can pressure with them, like happened in g2 for example. If the map is hard to pressure like in g3 then hydra's lose eventually because they are just too immobile.

He suspected somethign was up. He blindly started pooling resources to make them in the event that pheonix's/void ray's were spotted. As soon as he saw them, he already had spire done and made the corruptors. It's not a bad decision and it's great starsense. I don't understand why some people have a problem with the term "blind counter". There's such a thing as a smart blind counter. And it's exactly what Nestea did. It was smart, worked perfectly, and won him the game.

Why? The Code A finals should be pretty amazing. This could be a future Code S finals. Both players are very very good.

with the patch 1.3.3 coming up, i don't how protoss can FE anymore. Even if u do, it's going to be low economically with all the extra pylon and cannon forced to.

Pure corruptors isn't that great vs void/phoenix but you're right nestea just had an overwhelming econ advantage to beat anypro air to air. It also didn't help during the crucial push into the main with voids and phoenixes, that anypro was fighting over a spore crawler that got an insane amount of hits off on the phoenixes and voids.

There's not much on the line and there's so much drama involved in the group drawing

forge first then 4 cannons before nexus finishes into 15 minute gateway is kind of sloppy, especially when he just did double stargate against a smart player.

And that's what i hate about Code A ... just look at the + Show Spoiler +
Bomber interview "My reason for playing this tournament out till the end is to gauge the skill level of the players that will participate in the upcoming super tournament. And so far, I feel secure in my skill level compared to the other players. But since I have made it to the finals, I feel like I have to win."

Imo there is really too few on the line at Code A, they should let the winner auto qualify for Code S or something similar imo.

Imba matchup, it was the only way Nestea could ever hope to win.

Lol what? At what point was that an all-in?

Obviously it was an all-in. If NesTea hadn't won that game he would've lost. Totally all-in.

Haha, you win the thread!

Nestea hacked in Scourge.

(Know the answer if you were looking for it, but the entire game is worth watching for the full 2 minutes where Tastosis are all like "What is nestea doing? I don't quite...OH MY GOD!" I dont want to spoil it for you if you havent seen it)

I actually spoiled myself. But like was just strange to see 372 people suddenly just come out like that and remain hidden for the other polls.
