Teams such as EG unfortunately were not one of those in mind, like some others that were missed. But what do you expect? 1 player from every pro team?

In celebration of the launch of our team into the public scene, we have assembled for you our three top competitors to do battle with the top superstars from around the world in a 32 man, single elimination tournament for a prize pool of $2,000 USD ($1500 1st, $350 2nd, $150 3rd.) Not a big fan of the prize distribution, 2nd and 3rd place get very little for their efforts.

Why can't people just be thankful that SAGAcity has organized a tournament with a nice price purse and many top tier players from multiple countries? It's kind of silly to think that evvvery known pro is going to be in a single tourny no? That's a serious lineup and there's guaranteed to be some epic games and it sounds like there may be more to come in the future. Tone it down guys this is gonna be sick! ^ This. Anyways, unfortunately I can't really hop into the channel to learn more about you guys, a bit too busy to sc2 for awhile, but looking forward to updates as the tournament gets closer :D

I assume you are referring to the SAGA players. While the tournament's goal is to bring together top players from Korea and North America, our goal additionally is to highlight our clan's players as we enter into the competitive scene. Additionally, Inviting teams came down to whose schedule was open and did we have connections with them. However, it is my firm believe that everyone in the tournament has a good chance of winning it all,and while IdrA would certainly draw attention to the tournament, I think our player line up is well rounded.
