You can't really half-heart a baneling bust like that. Sen DID know that there were supply depots behind that wall because his zerglings scouted that wall before the barracks floated back. He abandoned the bust because he saw a siege tank and a bunker behind it. Even so, at that point the game was virtually unwinnable if you just try to recover against a player who knows his timings and Boxer does.

Terran gets to push out and apply pressure at virtually zero risk. When all the marines die, the barracks are in the middle of the map and the zerglings counter, tada!, there's a wall of supply depots. And then the barracks wall, which is basically impenetrable. I run into that sort of stuff on the ladder and it's so frustrating. I just can't seem to punish the Terran, and he can pressure Zerg whenever he wants. And then Zerg moves out and expands, and Terran decides to push out with tanks. Zerg is just on the back foot the entire time, and has basically zero options. rofl are you kidding? on a large map like that boxer was lucky to have done that much damage 90% of the game zerg will have map control up until the terran decides to push, if they didn't, they'd lose every game because they wouldn't know when to drone and make units you clearly don't know anything considering the only reason boxer's push did so well was that sen invested a ton in trying to baneling bust but only ended up taking out 300 minerals worth of production facilities if the terran is caught out in the middle of the map with an inferior group of marines they'll get taken out super cost effectively by only a group of zerglings and end up falling behind considering they won't be able to do any aggression for another 5 minutes

I think Idra, having seen Boxer's games vs. Sen, will prepare solid builds against him, and Idra will be playing on NA whereas Sen had to play on KR. And even if Boxer does win Idra there's still a bunch of EU/NA Protoss and Terran in that group and Boxer is known to lose quite handidly in those match-ups.

Only Sen could comeback from an all in the way he did. What sen did after that all in was cut corners and take some risks, pumping out 20+ drones, delaying his baneling speed in favour of mutas. When Boxer was at his doorstep he didn't rally all his mutas lings and banelings together before attacking. He attacked in piecemeal, and didn't bring all his banelings.... If he had brought them and waited just a little bit he would've cleaned up that small force pretty easily and his economy from his massive droning would've started to kick in.

Not sure. I assume the KR vs. KR games are played on KR, though how it actually works out is something only NASL can tell us.

TSL Spoilers: + Show Spoiler + He looked disappointing in the GSL, then he came out like a beast in the TSL before getting destroyed by HasuObs. And then this series against Sen... he wins game 2 on metalopolis, but close positions throw a bit of a bitter taste on his win, and then in game 3 he floats tons of minerals and gas but wins convincingly. I really don't know what to think about him. : / Edit: Added spoiler tags. Sorry Scribble >_> He has sloppy mechanics at times, but hopefully he gets better and better. At the moment he's a fan favorite because of his history and perhaps a bit of the fact that he isn't the best right now, which makes him an underdog as well.

Yeah, I absolutely agree. Like I said on the other page, Boxer's macro(or his timing, probably both) made the push weaker than it should have been, and it happened right as the mutalisks got out instead of, say, when the spire was halfway done. A lot was going right in setting that fight up as a victory for Sen until the actual engagement.
