TLO failed to do that
I think that was what made Morrow comeback actually, if he just reinforced and pushed into the main after killing the natural at the start he might have won.

You're right, we should consider ladder qualification matches in the beta to be the same as one of the biggest tournaments a year later.
. . . seriously?
Yes, Morrow and TLO are good friends and Morrow is having fun with TLO.
Seriously.
Thanks for side-stepping the actual substance of what I said.

That's what I was thinking. I felt the inkling of something bad happening right when he un-sieged his tanks to go back, even giving up on a contain.
As good as this day has been so far for the NASL, i'm still sad to see the poor map choices affect game outcomes. 6/7 pool in zvz on shattered temple is vastly different on close positions compared to the other two. Like, unbelievably huge difference. I feel for vibe.

No, i would say he didn't get more ahead. He hunkered down and prepared for an all-in. He didn't take his third until very very late.

IMO TLO is trying too hard to pander to the audience and play his patented "creative" style. That stuff is great for ladder but not for tournament play.

that's what i meant by tlo showboating. pretty sure he knew he could've just won by making more marines/tanks and reinforcing that... but wants to show something more interesting by dragging it out and making thors, etc.
