I'm not buying a pass, but the response is still quite positive.

Why is there no re-broadcast for europeans today? does that mean that we europeans have to pay 25 dollars for VODs to be able to see the games?

Grats to Incontrol, taking down ensnare is no small feat.
|
^^ Agreed, impressed by InControl, he's competing well with MLG and now this.
Are all the players getting access to the replays and vods at the same level as InControl is as a caster?

So, what happen to the European rebroadcast of day 2?

I don't want to take away anything from the foreigners and i think incontrol played very smart and ensnare did make some mistakes ( like maxed on Marine&Marauder with 1!! medivac in the last battle) but isn't it true that the koreans have to play at 4 am KST ? I think thats nothing to hate on because they knew this when they applied for NASL , but i think its obviously that youre not on your mental height when having to wake up at 4 am to play a tournament game.
Like I said, i don't want to take away anything from Morrow and Incontrol !

1080p vods take too long to buffer(yes , not everyone has a 50MB connection) plus the games are not even split , It"s just a giant single 600 MB file for two games. Glad i din"t buy a Pass due to a very basic mistake that i was hoping NASL would avoid.

edit: weird double post

That's the conditions they play under in a North American league. Like you said, they agreed to this and knew before hand. Nothing to discuss really, so why bring it up at all? Same can be said for arguments of lag.

I really liked the casting by diggity. Keep the good work.

Don't worry about the rebroadcast too much guys. There was only one good game the entire night anyway, Inc's first game. The rest were plain bad, very passive or hugely one-sided.

My constructive criticism for Gretorp, which others have mentioned, is to ease up a bit, relax, and tone down the over-hyping of all matches..
Gretorp has a great voice, a very likable personality and he's just a really great guy.. but take Cruncher vs DarkForce for example - Cruncher is a solid player; he had a solid build and DarkForce didn't punish him or do anything to deter him from building up a nice stalker/sentry/colossus/VR ball and when he moved in for the initial attack sure the forcefields were great but it was just solid play and maybe a bad reaction from DarkForce that allowed Cruncher to roll over DarkForce's army.. after the game was over Gretorp was "amazed" and said that Cruncher had "unbelievable play".. which is sort of what he said about everyone that won every game.. there's a difference between solid play and "unbelievable play" and it's important for Gretorp to hold onto that overwhelming excitement for situations that really call for it.
Overall I'm really loving NASL and can't get enough of the double incontrol bit :D

I totally agree, it wasn't very interesting. Although I liked seeing the reaper opening by QXC in his second match.

It will start in an hour, I think it started an hour early yesterday.

Jeez what is up with the NASL site? I went to it to check on the restream for europe and all results are spoiled for today on the frontpage. No need to watch anymore I guess.

There were some strategical choices Ensnare made that cost him the game more so than any lag. It was not Rainbow Morrow by any stretch. The oGs guys (Ensnare being one of them) seem to be lagging far less when they have to play on the NA server. They must've a good ISP provider for their team house.
I wouldn't blame this one on lag, Incontrol is perfectly capable of beating these guys, especially when so many obvious mistakes are done.

I agree with everyone who thinks Gretorp is just way too loud at times. It's fine that he gets excited, but please use some kind of volume limiter/control for listeners. Otherwise, the stream and VODs have been great. Still prefer the casting style of tastosis who throw in a good amount of humor, but I remember when they first started casting, and I would say these guys are easily better than that...

I don't really think gretorp is as bad as people make him out to be, but hyping every single game and every single action really gets so annoying. Just sounds so ridiculous when you call clearly bad games "epic" and try to find words for the epicness when everyone else just thinks it was boring and full of flaws. It doesn't take away from the league when u call out bad play or bad games. Stop making up epicness.
This. That is one of the many reasons people love tastosis (well most people), they are not afraid to call a spade a spade. When you hype every single game even if it is kinda bad and get excited at normal situations where nothing very dramatic is happening it makes you come across as fake. On top of this Gretorp is not a guy who gets really excited alot if you have watched his stream, it just is not part of his personality. That does not neccesarily make him a bad caster but he should stop trying to be something he is not and just act natural
Oh yeah that and he needs to stop saying INDEED or HUGE every other word.

I think the biggest problems right now are the lag in the euro restream and the problems with the VODS and the way they are arquived.
Please just break up the VODS into each individual game and arquive it in a non-spoiler way.
All the other problems will be solved with experience and more time.. i'm willing to bet my 20$ that i payed for NASL, that this problems will be solved and fixed
Some other dudes are not like me tho.. and only hate&bash
