MLG apologized. Can't really be mad at that, can you? You get your money back or a free pass to a future event.
It's not like companies are standing in line to put out thousands of dollars in prize money for SC2 tournaments.
Very true sir.

Sigh, they need 2 sets of casters. One for upper and one for lower. Seriously.

MLG has been good in the past. I will never stop supporting them for what they are doing . At least this way they have huge stream numbers and a reason to ask for more money from sponsors and get a better stream :D.

winner's bracket is more impt to show, duhhhh

MLG had huge ambitions for this weekend and it seems like their epic fail was hubris.
Still good to see them owning up to the mistakes and trying to make it better for the future. Sundance deserves a round for all the BS he has put up with over the past 2 days.

If it wasn't scripted, the obviously very tired dude will take twice as long trying to gather and collect his thoughts and might even say the wrong things and people will complain even more.
stop nitpicking useless things.
Props for Sundance to coming up personally and apologizing. All the best.for future events.

TeamLiquidnet: Inc defends, game looks close now

MLG needs to work on not just the whole stream thing, but uh not making it boring when the stream is up.

is IdrA out of the tournament?

Now now don't be so harsh on the dude. Stream worked pretty well today.

people may accept the Apology but there"s no way anybody"s forgiving MLG so quick , not until the Next MLG atleast.

This. I mean we already got SC2 to the mainstage, a huge Pricepool AND FUCKING CHAIRS!

Not everyone is easily able to speak extemporaneously in a public setting. Given the weekend he's had, it's probably even worse. MLG engaged in an epic fuck-up, but what more can they do beyond offering apologies and free passes/refunds? Whining that the apology was from a script is pretty petty.
Hopefully they'll be able to cast a few more games and salvage the last few hours of the tournament.

Shit happens, you gotta accept it. not act like nothing happened for 3 days then do a quick 1 minute apology.
your a moron, sundance has been tweeting about the issues since friday when they started. He's not acting as if they are not happening, he's working his ass off to get things fixed as well as owning up to the problems every step of the way. Half the people on these forums are just being ungrateful assholes who think the world owes everything to them. Get over yourselves, seriously.
Yeah, he read a scripted apology...I'm sure theirs so many things going on his mind at the moment that he felt it was better to do that...but if you know anything about Sundance, it's that he is always open for a real 1-1 conversation with the community. He's done so on numerous occasions on several popular community podcasts...
Give the guy a break,

yeah......i feel like sundance should have apologized after the finals instead of when games were going on. spent most of the weekend watching tech delays
with that aside MLG did seem to have put a lot of effort into fixing the tech difficulties. they're taking the right step at least
