I was hoping Sheth would win, but HuK just made better decisions for a bo3 series. Some people will make any excuse just to try to defend their point... but the fact is a 4gate isn't an auto win strat (I'm not saying it isn't easy to pull off or isn't effective) so the fact that he got rolled easily by it means that he was far too greedy for the situation. If Sheth were able to defend it or come very close to defending it then he wouldn't have made a greedy move, but double expanding that early is in fact greedy. What annoys me most is when people try to argue things such as "he wasn't being greedy". Sure you can't be 1 base zerg vs 1 base toss, but he already had 2 base and was going for a 3rd without seeing an expo going down for huk and having not scouted anything. I mean if sheth had pulled it off, everyone would probably be praising him for awesome macro and ignoring the huge risk. What also annoys me a bit is when people hate on someone making a smart strategical decision. I mean if he had spotted that 3rd, which is smarter to do, allin 1base vs 3 or try to catch up in macro? | ||

Not a mistake, since HuK *technically* broke one of the MLG rules by engaging in small talk during game three against IdrA (which should be auto-disqualification), but didn't get a DQ... and ended up winning that game. So he should have lost 1-2, but won 2-1. His victory didn't change the outcome of the bracket at all, so it didn't really matter. | ||
