Yeah it's bad that sc2 doesn't have lan but MLG knew about it beforehand and they've had problems before with their internet connection being bad. This isn't blizzards fault at this point it's just very bad prep work for MLG by not getting an arena that can support the games they're featuring in their tournament.

What's even worse about all of this is that MLG is actually getting coverage from major gaming blogs. This is going to be the first impression of a lot of folks who are just now deciding to see what the buzz is all about. What a train wreck. =/

Because these problems wouldn't exist regardless of venue if you could play without having to connect to Battle.net. Yea, you can ALSO blame MLG for not being prepared given the reality of the possibility of this kind of thing in SC2, but none the less this is EXACTLY the kind of thing that people were upset about when Blizzard said SC2 wouldn't have LAN support.
