Come on MVP and Genius didn't upgrade till very late game and faced 3/3 armies, constantly being behind economically, wtf ? Other then lag there is: being in the dark of their opponents, some perhaps not practising as much for this tournament specifically, lack of experience in cross regional play, hard to adapt to unconventional strategies and so on and so on. | ||

Yes they are all skilled players, but the koreans who lost spend the majority of their time playing and practicing in a house with others, learning the game as well as they can, every build order and proper counters, cant even get enough of an advantage from this to win games. I guarantee that each korean know more about the game, know more strategies and responses, and have at the very worst as good mechanics as those who beat them. QXC is a good player, but he is busy with school alot right now, and he clearly can't/hasn't practiced as much as the koreans do, but he still won convincingly. That is not right in any sport, maybe the few really good natural players, but not like this. This is not good for SC2, it needs to become more difficult such that the training regime shown in korea will actually pay off. grats to the winners though, as it was well deserved.
