I hope my terran hero can pull through, it would be quite amazing. Have you been watching GSL recently? Ever since blizzcon, Genius haven't done anything really. Maybe because he's been overshadowed by MC and the new upcoming protoss like Ace and Squirtle but yeh he's not the great. Qxc has a chance. I also like how the lucky qualifiers (no offense intended) got match with like one of the best players. Not so lucky now eh :D Except for Nightend. He's extremely lucky regardless of the outcome of his match.

That's pretty damn horrible. genius hasn't been playing too well lately. i think QXC can take it, but yea the problem is after that he faces nada lol. can't see him upsetting BOTH players.
ye, qxc going 2-10 maps in IEM, he rly will. lol.

Most developed ESPORTS country maybe, but not best! :D

agree
sweden is #1, germany #2, ukraine #3 considering "best eu country" and looking at the only games that matter: sc, cs, wc.

People were making similar claims about his ZvP and then he lost to SanZenith on shakura's. To be fair, obviously that matchup is a lot tougher, but ZvZ still has a lot of variance.
But while ZvZ is difficult and has variance, it's an even matchup. PvZ is inherently uneven because they're different races. Now if that difference is too big or not is a debate for another time, but I'm pretty sure almost everyone would agree that ZvP is one of the hardest matchups in the game.

Yes, I just didn't want to turn the post into a whine about balance, despite fully agreeing. Lag is also a huge factor in ZvZ given one baneling can end the match.

Heh, everyone loves hyping the potential upsets, but I doubt anything major will happen.

I'll laugh so damn hard if boxer loses to nightend. Other than that, Naniwa vs ret? I don't know about that. Naniwa can take that one imo. IdrA vs someone who took a tsl qualifier with 4 warpgate. That may be either a shitstorm caused by IdrA losing to some 4 warpgate stuff or some winner bm caused by IdrA winning and talking trash.

Both the previous TSLs had major upsets in the first round, as has the most recent GSLs, so I'm expecting at least two fairly significant upsets. I'd be really surprised if all the Koreans make it to the Ro16.

Bracket is very well done, no mirrors and good players will face worse players.
What I don't really like that 4 very good zergs (nestea, idra, ret and modragon) are in last 4th part of the bracket. Few of them could be in the 2nd part where a lot of terrans and toss are.
But anyways very good job!

My predictions: 1-13 Korea. 14-32 everyone else.

well yes germany is the most developed esports country in europe but you shouldnt forget that there are more games than the 2 known.im sure they are pretty equal. but thats the difference.the germans dont care whos the best but the swedes do care a LOT xd thats why i like the german fans more xd i mean they flame the whole time TLO lol but what i really miss in sweden is a real esports-infrastructure with an own league like the ESL,professional broadcasting etc.when i watch the DH im always sad i mean you do have the potential indeed. You have that many dudes sitting in front of their pc 24/7,a good internet and no cencorship like in germany. I dont see any reason not to become a big esports-nation like germany.

Bold prediction considering there's 7 Koreans and they aren't spread evenly enough to get top 7 even.
