However if there are connection problems along the way, especially due to disruption from the earthquake, that number could blow out a bit.
Edit: 0.5 is playable, but requires some adjustment and can make some micro, such as stutterstep type control, pretty useless.

Strelok is becoming such a beast. I hope he continues tearing nerds apart in the NASL.
Socke too, 2-0 against MKP. Daymn.
Europeans hwaiting!

Just deserts, I'd say. I'm still chatbanned for calling Lalush out for what he is though.

After watching the InCa vs Cruncher and mkp vs Socke reps I can see lag being the reason for InCa's loss since he mismicroed several times in 4 gate vs 4 gate battles. However, I don't see how lag prevents you from taking a 3rd base before the 20 minute mark. You can blame it on lag as much as you want but mkp tried beating Socke's 3 to 4 base army with 2 bases...

Great games yesterday, congrats to ROOTbritney for performing really well I didn't expect that at all really enjoyed the games.

Europeans hwaiting! Strelok has a strong TvZ but Nony (Liquid`Tyler) demolished him in PvT in the TSL3. Checkprime is good, which he 2-1'd yesterday but he is definitely the best zerg from Korea.

I wouldn't say Nony demolished Strelok. In the 2nd game Strelok had a huge macro lead that he lost to some overstimming and the infamous 1 zealot harass. Other than those small mistakes, Strelok had solid play and especially some very good macro.
Not to take anything away from Nony, he deserved to win, but those games were pretty even. That's what made them so good.

You are right. I think the 2nd game was actually really close and Tyler could defend Strelok's attack barely, because of his good upgrades.
TvP is Strelok's worst matchup and he is pretty good in TvT (e.g. 3-0 against Select in TSL qualifier) and TvZ.

Thanks for a great Day 1 guys - some pretty amazing matches and some awesome upsets.
For the lead up to day two, FXOpen e-Sports will be awarding a team shirt (the ones you see FXOmOOnGLaDe wearing at the GSL!) to one lucky person.
It won't be easy though - we'll be awarding a shirt to whoever can successfully predict how the remainder of the tournament will go. You only need to pick who wins, not map scores, and in the case of two or more people guessing correctly it will be a random choice out of those.
Just visit the brackets at www.challonge.com/fxois2, and post here who you think will win. We will wade through the posts following the finals and hopefully find a winner before the end of the cast. Best of luck to all who enter, if day 2 is anything like day 1 then I wouldn't be surprised if nobody won the shirt!
Secondly, we're going to have a set schedule for Day 2 - after some complaints of missing games, we've decided to put everything in a set order so you don't miss anything, and all games you don't see will have replays uploaded as well.
The second day's schedule is:
English stream - FXOUnstable and FXOWolf 00:00 GMT (+00:00) - WB Semifinal A mouzStrelok vs oGsZenio 01:00 GMT (+00:00) - WB Semifinal B dSelecT ss oGsSuperNoVa 02:00 GMT (+00:00) - Winner Bracket Final 03:00 GMT (+00:00) - Lower Bracket Final 04:00 GMT (+00:00) - 3rd place match 05:00 GMT (+00:00) - Grand Final

Let's hope the matches to come are just as good as the first days - make sure to follow us at www.twitter.com/FXOpenESports for constant updates.

Socke gets favored over a Code S player. What a baller.
I'm surprised Supernova is such a strong favorite, considering how lacking his TvT has been in the GSL & GSTL. I fully expect SeleCT to win.

ah that schedule is a godsend, really looking forward to tonight! As for who I think will win, it'll be oGsSuperNoVa of course
oops i get it, you need a full prediction. hmmm Strelok > Zenio, SuperNoVa > SelecT Socke > Ensnare, CrunCher > Check Socke > Britney, MarineKing > CrunCher Socke > SelecT, MarineKing > Zenio SuperNoVa > Strelok, Socke > MarineKing Socke > Strelok SuperNoVa > Socke
just a tip btw, if you put [time][/time]tags around those times it'll automatically convert them into TL user's customized time

I say mouzStrelok is going to take it gl Strelok! Win me an FXO shirt so I can go out on the street reppin' :D

You've got to decide who wins each match - not just the winner. We're only giving away one shirt at the moment, so if it was just 'pick the winner' there would be too many candidates!
Also, if I wasn't an admin I'd be drooling at SelecT getting 3.2:1 odds.

How did I miss this? When were the last games played?
