They don't defend against it decisively enough, 4gate is perfectly possible to defend against if you do it properly, but... I'm not sure if they expect the push to come like 20 seconds later, missed the proxy pylon, were expecting 3gate expand instead and would be too far behind if they prepared like they do vs a 4gate and would be too far behind, or something similiar... So basically if you know 4gate is coming it should be possible to hold if you play properly, it might be a scouting issue or something similiar. I didn't see if it was scouted, if it was I have no idea why he couldn't have held it, I'd imagine pros have their timings down well enough to know when 4gate can hit. | ||
