For full tournament
1st Place: 300.00
2nd Place: 200.00
3rd Place: 140.00
If the tournament does not fill the prize pool will be split accordingly based on the number of entrants.
Format: Participants maximum. 32 Participants maximum, Double Elimination brackets. Finals will be best of 3. Map pool is listed below, and selection will be done by elimination (Player 1 discards a map, player 2 discards a map, and so on until one is left).
Rules: Entry fee will be 25.
We have plenty for you to do. We have 12 Xboxes with Kinect, 7 PS3s, several Wiis, iMacs, Cable, and so much more...(for an additional 10. for the entire day)
Pool and Ping Pong is free 
15 minutes late for your match will count as an automatic loss.
Tournament registration will continue until 12/10/2010
Equipment: Play will be done on provided computers. If you have a mouse or keyboard that you prefer to use, feel free to bring it but it isn't mandatory. (We have a min of 10.)
Game will be played on "Medium" detail settings at native monitor resolution. Custom keys configured within game are allowed, but no 3rd party mouse/keyboard macros.
Details: The tournament will be held at Culture Crew Gaming; 15 Ossipee Trail (Rte. 25) Standish, Maine 04084.
Map Pool:
MAP 1 Metalopolis
MAP 2 Lost Temple
MAP 3 Xel-Naga Cavern
MAP 4 Delta Quadrant
MAP 5 Scrap Station
MAP 6 Blistering Sands
MAP 7 Jungle Basin
Maps will be chosen by elimination with the higher seed eliminating the first map and so on. Loser picks afterwards.

Rly depends on how many show Ryan. If there are 32 people there, running bo3's for the whole tournament would be impossible to do in 1 day. But last time we had 19 and we did bo3's the whole way and it worked out for around 9-10 hours which isnt bad. So the more people that show up, the less bo3's can be done, but he does like to give the best players the best chance at winning... he will run bo3's when he can.
Also, i believe 40 people were signed up to the last one, and only 19 showed... so i wouldnt worry about a players list... he has said if 33 people show up then he will run a 64 person bracket. Not worried about the number of people.

Soft, I'd sign up regardless of open or closed slots. If 50 people show up, I have no doubt the tournament would be opened to all 50. Make sure to get all your friends to show up as well, live tournaments are a blast.

if you do the math, it is based on 32 at 25. entry fee each ..5. to the venue and a whopping 20. to the prize pool..

Softsoap, You are not that far away so it is totally worth coming and hanging with these guys..they are so great..as people, not just "diamond", "silver", etc..they are the type of ppl that you want to hang around if you enjoy the game, talking about the game, and learning new stuff We have a lot of tourneys here, and SC2 ppl have uber class (not trying to butter up guys..lol..I have said this time and time again)

Once this weekend is over and the league is announced, I'll be setting up the circuit tournament dates with the 3 LAN centers. So chances are the next one will be mid Jan in ME or NH with MA being in Feb. Still have to wait for this weekend to get the logistics settled though.

I just checked the calendar, and you are there, but I believe they have all the times posted as KST(Korean Standard Time). So, this is listed as being on Sunday @2:30am, not Saturday @12:30p. Have you posted about the tournament on other sites to generate traffic?

I don't like it, first off if we cant really pull a strong amount in this dec 11 tourney, then i don't think there should be a bronze. And the games would be to long, no fun to cast :D.
Also, my cousins went to CCG after i recruited them, did you see them? it was on friday, to asian teens.

We have a softer showing so far for this coming tourney because it is merry christmas time ..lots to do, get the tree, decorate the tree, shop for friends and family, visit friends and family..you get the idea Last month was a good group and the community itself is growing stronger every month. We have been holding tournaments since Aug. and no complaints..well you know what I mean..lol
We have 15 ppl so far..we have 10 puters..and its a great experience for you to be around these guys..

This pretty much sums it up. The first lan i attended was in Dover and it was a blast... i met some awesome guys and enjoy hanging w/ them every time a lan is held. Ask DamnCats, me and him met at the first lan and since have probably played 400 games or more together.
Its definitely a good time and all the diamond players that to attend are more than happy to talk strategy all day and help you improve your game... (unless ur lazymicro, then we just make fun of you when you lose) BUT hes a special case cuz he builds cannons in all his mineral lines and makes 16 gateways on 3 base =D

It really is a fun time for all. Even the other night in Haverhill, Force was giving some of the other guys advice on gameplay and I was helping out a bronze guy. It's all about the community, but you can't really get into it if you stand against the back wall, know what I mean?
As far as casting goes, I usually take over these duties for the LANs and bronze doesn't always mean boring. It gives a live tournament group a chance to talk about whats going on, or build orders that could have worked, or what hints we can give to help someone else improve.
And besides, if you don't show up you end up missing me talking about the NE SC2 League that I just formed. Which, btw, I'm proud to say CCG is a part of.

i would sign up if i wasnt afraid of getting rolled by a diamond(im bronze). but im gonna show up just to watch and hang out, i had fun last time. maybe i could find someone to play with this time maybe help me improve.

Well as far as I'm concerned, we are still going to have a blast and I hope the prize pool won't be to small haha. Maybe we should take away 3rd place prize pool because the lack of people showing up. , see you soon. This will be a long 2 days. Also, do you guys have pretty much a lot of games for pc and ps3 consoles? As I will be paying the extra 10 for playing some ssf4 and other games.

Hey guys, the first qualifier tournament fro the league is up. you can check it out here. Make sure to also keep an eye out for the next CCG tournament as I know they have a few in the works. From what I hear, 1 of them is even for lower ranks!!!
