If he really thought blink stalkers were coming there was no reason to do that.

I know its all about winning but at what cost, so you have 1 good cheese build thats great. What are you going to do in the next series, and the series after that when people know exactly how to counter it. I hate seeing anyone win in that fasion, just abused a cheap strategy, but I'm equally disappointed that Idra didn't really adapt his play to it at all. Maybe Nazgul knew Idra would be so cocky that he wouldn't even change his play up and thats why he did it 3 times in a row... but man that felt really stupid and cheap to watch. There's always one...if the game doesn't go on for 45 minutes and have 4 bases some no hoper will call it stupid, cheap or boring. That's not true. Even 45 minutes games, 4+ bases, nukes and storms is not enough to prevent people from making the "that was nothing special" posts.
Haha, sadly true. I guess people in groups literally are just stupid as fuck.

Eventually, people get fed up and group together to deal with that behaviour. Like a bully, you eventually got to deal with him before it gets worse.
I really really don't think that's what it is. I'm pretty sure it's the threat thing.
And while Nazgul's blinks in game 3 didn't impress me, in game 1 he blinked almost perfectly, it was outstanding.

Oh man you missed an epic game 2 there with Jinro and Socke. And yes Idra lost 2-1, naz going 1 base blink stalkers in all three games.

I think the key to his victory was him getting close spawns on metal and then getting the ultra blink abusive kulas-ravine. once i heard that map choice i was like GG already. I'm getting really disappointed with one base play being so effective. blink stalkers is one of the easiest builds to execute, especially if you take it all in like he did every time..so funny to hear the commentators raging about the "insane " micro of grabbing a hurt stalker and blinking it to the back. So sad Idra didn't crush it. Not suprised TL banded together to cheese him though. Best way to take out a superior all-around player. Please enlighten me how that was cheese? Idra knew it was coming yet he still failed. Why? Because he is more predictable than ppl want to admit. He drones up and drones up.
Why? Because how do you want him to counter it? If he techs up to hydras too quickly, his hydra force will be too late and too small. You have to go roach/ling and hold off long enough. Because of Kulas' easily abusable cliffs it makes it even easier for Nazgul. IdrA was in solid shape in game 3 but the final engagement he misread Nazgul's intention and his army was split so he gg'd out.

All due respect but in my humble opinion Idra can absolutely rely on pure macro as Zerg, simply because his play is almost flawless past the 15 minute mark. His problem in match three was not getting hyrdas. Had Idra not played so singlemindedly, he would have won.

On Nazgul picking Kulas: The map being on the Blizzard ladder is irrelevant since players of their level devote a lot of practice outside of ladder. Players like HuK, Select, Allaboutyou, etc. are unique in their incorporating the ladder grind into practice.
PvZ revolves around the Protoss' timing attack; completely neglecting a timing attack is not viable. Protoss does not succeed in that matchup with passive play, so aggressive play shouldn't be considered non-standard.

First of all, Idra is an awesome player and if you let him macro, then you are pretty much done for. Tyler used something similar in the recent show match series, there is no way you should let Idra macro. I am repeating the same thing again but some people on here simply don't understand what strategy is all about. It is out-thinking your opponent and Nazgul did exactly that. He used the same three builds because it was obviously one he had practiced and he knew that there is no way Idra would expect the same in all 3 games.
And for people calling KR imbalanced, yes I can agree. But what I cannot understand is that when Zerg get to choose SS as an easy match where they can drone on like shit, why cannot other races take advantage of Zerg's deficiencies to beat them. Yes, it was right for KR to be removed from the pool but don't talk as if KR was the reason Idra lost the third game. He obviously lost on Metalopolis also which is quite simply the best map in the pool right now.
Fact is as far as the 3 games are concerned, Naz simply out-thought Idra.

Could someone tell me how the map choosing works, is it winners choice or pregame or set maps?
Would be kinda important! Thanks!

There was a Ret vs. HuK replay in the latest liquid weekly replay pack.
It was a good game, and I've picked the player I want to win based on the result of that game:
