Guys, you need to understand that the pressure in that booth is hurrendous. Remember Tester's dual cybercore? Attacking your own refinery in game 1 now?

This game would never had happened on ladder, but it happened here, in the booths of gg

EDIT: Tester also chrono boosted the wrong one ^^

I'm glad another MMM 1a + abuse drops sometimes is gone.

That's a good one. A moving and Hold positioning the colussus was so much harder?

I have a question, what are they basing the statement that Idra is the favorite to win this tournament on?

Has there been a Korean tournament which he won before this? Or is it just that he has played like 24/7 since beta start.

Maybe he is top on the ladder?

He's the only USA player in the tournament, therefore overhyped, that's about it.

Well that doesn't make much sense. I hardly think they said Flash was a favorite to win a tournament before he actually started to win tournaments. Might be wrong there tough

your nickname pretty much explains it all.

Idra is actually a good zerg? maybe that would be it. He has played tons of games, everyone knows he has sick macro which is extremely powerful in mid to late game and he has won Tester and other Korean players in international tournaments before. Tester in KOTB for example.

And no, im not saying hes the top favorite to win the tournament, but he definitely is one of them.

Anyone else think Legalmind said something like he doesn't usually practice much but did 5 hours a day recently but the translator said, "he trains all day long when not eating".

weird.

Yeah, its UFC style... Well, any sports style... Hype (spelling?) creates the illusion that a match is more intense than it actually is. Not that todays IdrA matches needed more excitement

Its more like he was A favorite. THE biggest favorite would most likely be Tester.

You guys realize idra would have won those games easily if not for silly scouting errors(and that was with his opponent playing very well)? hes definitely a very strong player.

Idra, in his many years of progaming has never won first place in any korean tournament. The only reason he's hyped is because the commentators are his friends/teammates and they are of course catering to the english crowd.

And comparing him to flash is ridiculous, flash makes what, 300,000$ a year from his contract alone because of his skill? Idra can't hope to match that skill or winnings.
