Would be nice to be honest.. the GOM stream is fine and we should support them.

The GOM stream is fine BECAUSE we are restreaming.

After watching todays games, I can see MorroW, Huk, Dimaga, etc, booking their flights to Korea asap.

Seriously. Morrow, Dimaga, and probably some of the NA P's like Huk, Kiwi and also the million terrans would probably do just fine in this tournament. This is around the same level as the first rounds of the MLG

All the best Korean RTS players are still playing BW.
This is the RO64, anyway, pretty diluted pool of players.
Don't judge the Korean players as a whole just based on these few first round games.

Why not? This is the premier (only?) SC2 tourney in Korea, of course it's going to draw all of Korea's best SC2 players...the Ro64 should be highly representative of Korean skill overall.

Its OPEN tournament and instead of RO32 they did choose RO64 for starting round. So much more weaker players qualify.

I don't know. I'm just not a fan of all the complaining that's been happening in the SC community lately. We used to be happy, poitive, manner people. Now we're no better than a bunch of Halo fags. >:[

"fags" = not acceptable on TL

Apologies. I meant no offense to the gay community. Just the Halo community.

Not when the qualifiers consist of 2000 fairly randomly matched players.

Exactly, if we're talking about the talent pool, no shit the current showing is weak when pretty much all the SC1 proteams still have a fairly large A team with their own B teams to support. That's what ~15 members per team?

We haven't even seen the top Korean players yet.
There is too much "oh see the foreigners are better" in this thread.
These are certainly not the best 64 SC2 players in Korea, and we probably haven't seen any of the top 5 yet.

It's fine for YOU, not for many people.

Well a TL admin commentated on this before, if a league doesn't want its broadcasts to be restreamed, TL.net will oblige.

Get serious, random matching would not lead to any massive change in skill level in the Ro64.

Same reason Jinro/Nazgul didn't get through, they can end up playing better players while easier groups pass through weaker players =/

To be honest, neither of them are all that good anyway.
