In the same vein as my Jedi Tournaments [ http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=143868 , http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=143626 ]
Today I am bringing you all a tournament from the Dark Side! The tournament will follow the teachings of the Sith and their rule of two, and thus will pay out TWO places, rather than just one!
This is a tournament open to high level diamond players on the North America server! Players must have at least 650 points to enter (rating may be provided from any server, as long as you have an NA account). The reason for this is that the player pool is going to be small so I'd like to have the best competition available!
[Note: If you are below the 650 point mark, you may post below and if not enough 650+ rating players are available, you will be seeded on a highest rating basis]
This will be a 16 or 32 player tournament depending on interest!

Map Pool: Scrap Station, Steppes of War, Delta Quadrant, Blistering Sands, Lost Temple, TSI Shuriken, iCCup Valhalla

ya Shivan sent me a PM saying that he wasn't going to be able to play in the tourney, so I removed him from the list, thanks for looking out though! =D

I'm sorry you feel that way, but yes as travis said I am simply trying to do some sort of regulation since it is a relatively small number of players in an open registration tourney. I apologize for any inconvenience to you, and I am certainly open to other ideas on better ways to achieve the same goal.

Host, maybe make it Bo1 until semis? Bo3 up until then will take kinda long and tourney will probably last until 5-6am EST if left in the current format imo!

If we get over 50 players by 11:45EST I will up the brackets to 64 man and kick in a little extra to the pool.
Also, if this happens the Round of 8 will become Best of 1 as well.

Well, After a looong, crazy night of insane games of SC2 one man has emerged victorious!

It was a long and arduous road to victor, with lots of very strong competition along the way, not to mention having to play into the wee hours of the morning! I'd like to thoroughly congratulate our winner and runner up, and thank everyone who took time out of their day to play in my tourney!
