Tuesday, August 3rd at 6 p.m. PST Root Gaming and EG will be doing a Best of 7 clan war.
The format: The matchups will be announced the day of 5 1 vs. 1 Bo3s 1 2 vs. 2 bo3 Ace Match - bo3 Game 1 is on LT. Loser picks the following map. Standard map pool, excluding D.O. (This included the 2 new ladder maps) Win is awarded to the team who wins the series
I don't think DO is a great spectator map anyways. Just because blizzard thinks its a good map and keeps it in the map pool doesn't mean real competitors should play it and think its a great map, because its not.
My feeling is that Desert Oasis leads to a lot of fun games. It might be because playing on it during a tournament takes players out of their comfort zone or something.

I'm of the personal opinion that D.O. is a better map than Kulas Revene. I think regardless of balance the new maps need to be included in more stuff just so they get more high-level play. How about Zergs can't pick D.O. and terran's can't pick Kulas Revene, but a terran can voluntarily play D.O. if he wants and a Zerg can voluntarily play Kulas if he wants.

This is in my eyes the worst possible matchups for my team, but I don't mind, I think we're still favored. Either way, I told qxc and Lickitung that they got hustled and explained my reasoning. They agreed with me that they messed it up, I didn't ask them to change anything.
But qxc apparently emailed you, cause he actually thinks you're a reasonable/nice guy for some reason. Never shared his thoughts, I hope this will teach him.

Your admin contacted me for a cw. I set up the draw with your admin being consulted by one of your players (I have no relation to that communication). We agreed on the cw (fun cw mind you lol) I then get contacted that Root has changed all the mu's and I need to deal with that.
That is NOT how cw's are done. Either it is random or captains alternate mu's so the cw is fair.
Being a dick and in general a pain in the ass IS standard for you but sometimes you try and be more diplomatic. I'm sorry to see that isn't the case.

However, I do have 1 gripe..whoever the caster is on the Root Gaming stream needs to chill with the immature language while casting. You have over 1000 viewers right now and you need to be a lot more professional. I have nothing against swear words and bad language, but there is a time and a place for it, if you are casting such a main stream series you need to clean up the language and be more professional, or don't cast at all.

This. There are PG streams and streams for the rest of us. People like you are the reason we have "time out" cards in basic training for all branches of the military. Man up.
Whatever, I'm enjoying the stream regardless. It's not about being PG, it's about being professional when casting a large exhibition like this.
Like I said, its not a huge deal, the caster still has very good game sense and follows the game very well. Overall its a great cast, just thought it could be more professional.

thank for bringing such a nice clan war, hope for more of those in the future. I felt like some players from EG weren't at their usual level, maybe not as active as during the beta or compared to roots players. It could of been way more intense but the Lz vs Slush game was awesome, and also congratz to Incrontrol for his win over QXC.

why is QXC so aggressive vs protoss on Lost temple? If you siege at your xel naga and take your gold, you win the game. What are you afraid of - that the protoss will tech to carriers? Army composition of marauder/ghost/tank/viking with vision of half the map is invincible.
Should have just sieged and gone nexus sniping with 2 dropships of marauders. Attack move with 200/200 marauder/ghost/tank/viking and even if u siege late, you still win the fight.
