Hah it was pretty funny to have Rise as the only commentator though I would like Chill or someone else for Canada to balance it out. Rise made some pretty good jokes, but had to rely on the igloo comments a bit too much due to his lack of knowledge on Canada.
The win songs for each country were the "America Fuck Yeah" song 2x + Show Spoiler +
some other song which I can't remember for USA and the Canadian national anthem 1x and 2x a rap version for Canada. So got to look for new songs too.

also i wonder if "The United States is the only other major producer and the leading consumer(Maple Syrup)." is a per person consumption, I am guessing not. Anyone know/care to find the per person comparison of Syrup consumption? I would do so myself however I don't think I should push my luck in case boss decides to wander over here :D
i'm looking forward to this rematch! i'll be more prepared with songs for this series, i didn't have any time to prepare for the last so no more lame ass sl'o canada songs. the rap version of o canada was pretty baller though, i'll probably play that one again.

You had a great cast last time. I'd never heard that Oh Canada rap before, it's pretty good.

so far its the same lineup as last time, last time, every root member won their match, except cauthonluck (who lost to another root member), and i think all the players invited have been doing pretty well and proven themselves both as individuals and as teammates.
anyways, I nominate Machine and iNkA for team usa i think they'd both be great assets and are very acomplished players.
and it'd be nice to see Antimage + Fayth or perhaps vOidwards for team canada, all pretty good players as well.

I'm kind of confused about the lineup formed by Canada. I have only heard of one of the players. I take it that this isn't a national team match, country vs country. It seems that this match is just a few people from Canada vs a few people from USA.
If possible I'd like to take part in a future event such as this. I am from Canada with a big history of RTS experience. I played BW quite some time ago, I was B2 WGTour, and 1801 Game-i.

Also, I don't know much about Huk, but KiWiKaKi is an exceptional gamer and has done well representing Canada for WC3: TFT playing at the professional level. However, HuK has been playing well recently, good for him.

Blame the lack of a Canadian commentator to balance out Rise.
I think I'd rather blame rise's obnoxious comments on the fact that he's being a massive douchebag. This seems much more accurate to me. Bringing in another commentator wouldn't change anything. It might only add to the bullshit flame that needs no more fuel.

Great last game with Machine and Kiwi. Machine had an EPIC defense. Man, that was a good game. I usually think it's silly when people say they were on the edge of their seat watching a SC2 match but that last game I definitely was.
They were close good games, I could just as easily lost that last game. Me and Kiwi usually go about 50-50 so it was a tossup either way, just happy that I could pull it out.

Who knew that harmless jokes would strike so deep into the hearts of some Canadians.
Seriously man, you should try being from the U.S. for a week. I see anti-American 'obnoxious comments' (that aren't even meant as jokes) all the time, and much much much harsher things than the silly quips that rise was making during the games.
Trashtalk is a part of showmatches, and I thought rise did a great job.
Settle down guys it's just harmless fun. I'm Canadian and I loved the trashtalking. Rise did great, though a Canadian partner would have been excellent. Don't let the yanks get the impression we can't take some prodding
Next game series, we'll be the ones doing it, have no fear.
I agree with Rise though we need a Canadian caster along side him as well to trash talk at the USA. It would make it much more fun and less one-sided as well. Maybe Chill? LOL.

It doesn't bother me that he was poking fun at Canada. I just didn't like his cast. I thought that he acted like a total douche the whole time, hence why I stopped watching it. It was, for me, childish and boring. I'm going to leave it at that. I just won't watch his stream anymore. I'm not too sure why I even posted, it's not worth my time.
To be honest, the thing that upset me more than anything else was the lineup from Canada. Not very many people on our side (in my opinion obviously) should of been there. There are plenty of people who are very deserving of a spot to represent Canada, but don't get a chance. I think you need to be in ROOT to represent Canada, correct me if I'm wrong, it just seems that way to me. It could also be my old SC1 bones, thinking that SC1 players should be representing SC2.
A new era has begun.
P.S: sorry for upsetting anyone at my comments. I feel it's the truth.
Team EG and Team Root have the best players in NA, not a surprise they had the majority of spots
Who else should have been picked? Orb?
There are some other players ThisIsJimmy, Antimage, and some others who are up there, I agree, but in all recent tournaments these players have all done really good and definitely are up there.
You can insert "name" that people might recognize but it doesn't mean they are better than anyone I picked.

Well, you could always organise a tournament yourself.
The fact is, if you want to try and find the best. Start the qualifiers up for Team Canada, those interested enter the tournament, the top 4 are on the team for x amount of time. This is just something for fun, Rise tries but he has to be biased towards Americans, it is the American way. Day9 was supposed to help cast I think but he is busy with his final week of school so at least Rise wont have to talk to himself during the cast.

KiWiKaKi the WC3 player has been arguably the strongest rep for Canada, dunno what you are talking about.
Also you are taking Rise's commentary too seriously, like he said he wanted a Canadian co-caster to balance it out it's fun to have a healthy rivalry like that you need a way to hype up the match or it becomes less of a grudge match and more just a run of the mill BO7 CW/NW.

Me + huk + slush + fayth ( he was originally in the lineup but then replaced by attero ) + attero are all well known BW players, then theres fredz who is new to the scene but has been dominating the weekly TST tournament with slush, also he won his game so wtf he did great, and then theres kiwikaki who is the best canadian WC3 player of all time and is now dedicated to SC2. So seriously... wtf is your problem man, I have not seen any other of these mystery people deserving a spot consistently doing well in the weekly tournaments. You didn't even name anybody, you just flamed everyone. I thought the commentary was funny. Rise, I always love your streams man, even if they aren't super informative, they are always funny. Too bad some people take it too seriously :\
This has to be the best show match series so far. It does not disappoint.
Machine really pulled it out. I have to admit I was real worried when those charged up Void Rays were marching across the screen, but all those queens and hydras were an epic defense. That Machine kid is good. er bad.

Ya I saw that but I was hoping for the actual replay files. Being able to watch them using the replay I find to be much more beneficial than watching a commentary.
