After the swastika-broodwar-map clone, this one is now another step towards a very terfifying German "newspaper" report about SCII. Harher tone and therefore spoilered: + Show Spoiler + Give this map such a nickname is like glorifying the "cultural" heritage of one of the darkest eras of humanity. Even if you can't relate to what happened here (where I live) during that time, think about what such a name would cause. I don't really care if your map gets neglected/banned from every possible tournament or the blizzard arcade itself - No, I'd rather appreciate that. But I don't want such a stupidly named map to pave the way for dumber ones. To help you finding a better name, here are some of my ideas: *) Bel'Ovaliant is a bad and uncreative mapmaker who has to raise attention for his bad map by giving it horrendous names'-beach *) Shaku'Really, Ovaliant, think before using such terms'-plateau *) Steps of "Whatever dude, your map is bad anyways and will be forgotten soon, bye" edit: On April 16 2013 20:30 cythaze wrote: Probably tournament organizers would even add it BECAUSE of the name as it would cause attention and generate viewers from the german community.... But it's rather stupid to do so on a serious subject and after there are 2.5 pages mainly about the title and an apology from the mapper. If you want German words that maybe sound good to non-Germans here are some suggestion that kinda fit the map: + Show Spoiler + Sandsturm - dust storm Hitzeschild - heat shield Wassermangel - water deficiency Trockenzeit - dry season Bodenverlust - loss in soil this is harder than i thought :/ | ||
