Good TvZs are trailing close behind, but I just love watching terran balls versus the tough Protoss ground, with some elegant tech -HTs or arbiters- thrown in ftw, or to be EMP-d, either way, not to mention bulldogs, mass vultures, hallucinated recalls or other sweet stuff. | ||

PvZ/ZvP is my favorite because there is just so many things that can happen, from early game to late game. Expos are so important, and big battles can go either way depending on spells and positioning. Just a great matchup. | ||

The exciting factors: -Plagued Vessels -Multiple dropship plays -Lurker Hold (scream!) -Dropship scourging -CC infestation -Ensnare!! -Lurker spines ripping up marines -Sexy marine micro tearing up huge numbers of lurks -River of ultraling getting irradiated -Mass Mutas vs Mass Goliaths TvP/PvT Exciting factors: -Storm -Stasis -Zealot bombs/Zealot charging Tanks -Recall -Lockdown -DTs -Mines killing mass goons -Reaver drops/Storm drops You see, the actual fight between Tanks/Vult vs Goons/Zealots is not that entertaining to watch. Storms look great here and there but it gets old. You don't see advanced Terran tech like nuke, lockdown, etc in standard games. | ||

When both players are aggresive in ZvP, the games tend to be AWESOME - Refering to the classic Bisu vs Savior, EVER OSL game 2 as a prime example - But I actually voted TvP (to show the not-so-loved-matchup a little love )A skilled break (read: not the 200/200 1a2a3a4a5a --> remacro off of 20 gates and repeat) of a HUGE push - with zealot bombs, reaver drops to target tank clusters, storm blankets, recalls on top of tanks, stasises, dancing goons, spread out, mine dragging kamikaze zealots... A perfectly orchestrated pushbreak is one of the most beauitful things in Starcraft - therefor TvP/PvT gets my vote! | ||

ZvP is fun when bisu is on the top of his games. Watching the observer run around and try to capture the action of 3 dt around the map, all scouting and killing drones at the same time, while the massive army battle occurs in the middle with psistorms is something that no one else has the multitask to do yet. | ||

tvz has become somewhat stagnant for me because of all the recent mech play; ALTHOUGH that ONE game for WL (i think hyvaa against fantasy) on medusa was really fun to watch. the zerg's push break was just soo sexy~ | ||

Zerg players seem to use almost every unit in their arsenal, which makes Zerg games the best to watch... except for ZvZ which is almost a lottery in my eyes.* *except for Jaedong, how in God's name does he have such a high ZvZ stats? | ||

TvZ especially back and forth play PvZ Storms and arcons make this a bit boring, they completely obliterate zergs, but it's still interesting to see how zergs manage to handle it. PvP It always seemed cool to see arcons, reavers and storms against another protosss, oh and pools of dragoon ZvZ Short, sweet and is intense when there are zergling agression rather than concaves TvT If it was shorter and less vultures, it'd be nice | ||

TvT is my favorite matchup otherwise. I just love watching players like Flash or MVP (oh yeahhhh) systematically take over the map with tank placement, and the late game BC battles just put the icing on the cake. Even games with cheese are interesting. | ||

For some reason, TvP always seems like the ordinary, generic, basic, "common" MU of the game. ZvT on the other hand I think is one of the more exciting MUs with a huge amount of emphasis on both micro and macro, and a very large emphasis on timing as well. For either side, it's one of the most straightforward and difficult MUs in the game with huge learning curves (MnM micro vs lurkers, muta, ling, lurker, defiler micro, etc.) It's my favorite MU by far. | ||

ZvT on the other hand is very dynamic, and it's the most volatile matchup. By that I mean an army of marines can get slaughtered in a few seconds by hold lurkers, or a zerg can lose tons of zerglings in a few seconds . That's why I think it edges ZvP slightly. TvP is alright, but the start tends to be dull while both players macro up. | ||

I voted ZvP, but it's really dependent on what happens. Traditional ZvT is more exciting for me than traditional ZvP, but I definitely find traditional ZvP more interesting than mech ZvT. | ||

If i had to choose one it'd be PvZ. All the different tactics you can chose, from both sides, makes it really fun for me to watch. It's also the matchup I like playing most too, so maybe that has something to do with it. | ||

Waw, TvZ and ZvP are very close. It reminds me of that StarCraft II poll about which race you will play where the numbers were preety much even between the three races. It will be interesting to see which matchup will come out on top. However, I am suprised that so many people actually like TvT. While any professional game of StarCraft is interesting to watch, TvT is, in my opinion, the least interesting of them all. | ||
