To me, the most important thing is the games. And NASL had the best games. DreamHack and MLG did other stuff better, but they also should. They've have way more experience.

NASL delivered on games and thats number one in my eyes.

I can't believe NASL gets that many votes rofl. People probably still hyped by the finals.

I loved the players and the games at NASL but man...organization and production of the event just put me off big time. You just cant have prize pool amazingly high like that and fall short on delivering the show.

I hope this was a kinda lesson learnt experience for the NASL and it will come back stronger in season 2.

DreamHack has to take it. HD free stream, basically no stream errors, and free VODs. What other sport makes you pay to watch the games, or else you just get to watch a pixelated production? I guess, what other sporting event lets you watch whenever you want as well? That's a hard call, but with as many people turning out as they had and free VODs, it just has the air of a professional environment. The idea to make sponsorship money, and then ask for money from the people already being advertised to just doesn't sit well with me. That said I specifically bought a Sony Ericsson phone because they sponsor MLG and TLO, and I emailed them to let them know specifically that fact, but then turning around and paying for VODs just feels dirty.

dreamhack clearly, was such an epic expereience and can't be compared to anything tbh. And there was 7 more tournaments that was just as exciting as the sc2 one.

Haven't watched many DH games

This. I cant believe how NASL has any votes on that apart from the overhype from the great final matches. People said shit after shit after shit of the production, technical issues, people involved, schedule, etc, etc, etc.....the bo7 finals were really good and everyone forgets everything and its now getting a huge % of voting?

I agree with milkis...this vote should have never been done so close after the end of the tournament, biased opinions showing right there (and yeah you can try to say im biased towards dreamhack and sad its in last place but that is just not true. I voted for MLG. I just find it odd that NASL has this many votes).

Also I dont have nothing against the NASL. I wasnt in the "this is the worst event ever" bandwagon, despite having some complains, I kept them to myself because I understood that it was the first season and they were doing their best to improve and give us the better experience possible. The same way I didnt jump into the worst ever, im not going to jump to the omg it was best event ever bandwagon just because the final gave us some really exciting games.

Nonetheless Im looking forward to the next NASL and Im sure a lot of improvements will be made and, by the end of next season, if the NASL gets this many votes for the best event I wont find it strange

Dreamhack for all those streams and the ability to watch every game you like. Next would be NASL finals (as opposed to group stage) and last MLG due to lack of games shown.

Nasl was a bad tournament with good games. They picked it up allot on the last day but it was still not even close to Dreamhack or MLG Columbus.

Just the last game NASL wins hands down. Entire event I'd say MLG.

NASL ended on a high note. Almost erased all the previous troubles, but you have to think that the success that MLG and Dreamhack had created a wave of interest that carried over into NASL. That many people just don't show up to watch a stream out of the blue.

The question is that will MLG Anaheim ride the wave and be even bigger? I'm guessing yes. My prediction is 100k viewers all weekend long.

Homestory Cup!

I voted MGL though. Overall best event. The NASL finals did go a long way to make up for the bad production, but MLG had great games as well. But I really feel Homestory Cup should be in this poll. I think it has done the most to further particularly western esports.

overall MLG was the best, but NASL clearly had the best final match
If you think it's too hard there are solutions other than asking for a nerf, getting better is the first that comes to mind.

nasl finals was a pretty bad event, like worse than mlg dallas bad, except for quality of the semis and finals games which were as epic as epic gets

mlg won production

dh won delivery of content

i'll have to go with DH first for the full coverage on streams, best tournament format and slightly superior games, with Columbus close second for the atmospehere, storylines and production value, and Nasl a distant third for some good commentating and semis/finals games quality.

HSC3 takes the grand prize though
