Hype? Not sure if it'll be Bo5 or Bo3, nonetheless, looking ahead and not caring about the other competitors makes this a bit exciting.

Jaedong will never ever be able to take down much in first place!
effort and much will be training like hell together for their matches, ending up in effort completely destroying violet, much taking down jaedong.

4 players on the left are playing better than ANY of the 8 on the right. That is one lopsided bracket.

(T)Flash & (P)Shuttle to win this week.

There's some awesome games being lined up though (Z)Jaedong/(P)Much & (P)Violet/(Z)EffOrt.

The bracket for r64 at gom site (if I understand correctly, flash is at the top half and jaedong at the bottom half) is different from the one for r16.
I also checked the barcket at r&s thread, it is also different from this one.
Can someone confirm this?

We relied on the most recent official GOM match list when making this bracket. It's true that GTR's bracket was different. It's also true that GTR's bracket appeared to be accurate, up until the semifinals. Either GTR got it wrong but was close enough to being right that it wasn't noticed, or GOM scrambled their bracket a bit somewhere along the line. The former seems more likely.

In any case, we're not in any position to argue with GOM. It's their tournament, we're sure they know how it's set up. We apologize for any concerns this has caused; we know it screws up GTR's bracket contest. Sorry T T

Holy crap, instead of reading the writeup I decided to watch the game recommended (July and Goojila) and that was one of the sickest games I've seen, ever.
Excuse me hun, but what is your name? Vivian? I woke up next to you naked and, uh, did we, um?

Dude, in all honestly, I think that at this point, Much has the greatest chance of beating Jaedong. Bisu is still obviously best chance, but he's out.

I'm pretty sure gomtv.net just failed at making the correct bracket. Look on the korean version:

That version has Skyhigh/Flash/Hwasin/July on the same side (left).

He has to get past Violet and most likely Jaedong, so it will still be a thorny path for Effort.

Crap, that's obnoxious. K. I'll trust korean GOM over english GOM and remake the bracket asap. Thanks for the heads up. edit: done... good news is, GTR's bracket contest is still a-go! :D

I think you're missing the point of the recommended game bit. You can find all the games on the gomtv website, or simply reduce the number in the url of the recommended game slightly.

Great write-up and analysis, thanks Kwark!
