Comments:
The night started off producing a mediocre PvP between Bisu and Stork. With Stork's questionable form recently, and Bisu looking hot as ever, it came as no surprise that Bisu was able to overcome Stork's hidden-gateway antics and took the game with relative ease. Leta vs Hero produced one of the unexpected good games this week, Hero pushed Leta's TvZ to the limit and produced an entertaining conflict between the two. Eventually, Leta was able to limit Hero's expansions and take an economic lead, and eventually the game.
BeSt vs Hwasin featured one of the best timing attacks I've seen. However, that meant that for the most part the game was Hwasin raping BeSt without concern for the lives of innocent probes. BeSt desperation recall right at the end is representative of the futile effort BeSt put up against Hwasin. Hwasin looks to be in incredible form at the moment, form which will hopefully take him to the semifinals. Lastly, Jaedong and Luxury duked it out in a great ZvZ. Jaedong, who was behind most of the game, showed why he is the ZvZ king and managed to take Luxury to school with brilliant micro, timing and game sense. Excellent play by Jaedong - who's looking highly likely to 3-0 his group at this stage.

Yarnc continued his strong form and dismantled July without too much difficult. July was behind the entire game after going gas first, and Yarnc really exploited that deficit to the best of his ability. fantasy vs Tester was plagued by misfortune for Tester. His 12 Nexus was countered by a blind center barracks, which was followed up by a bunker rush. The Nexus fell but Tester fought back and just about evened out the game when his keyboard malfunctioned and lost a number of Dragoons for nothing. After about 10minutes of paused game the game resumed and Tester was eventually bested by fantasy.
Flash vs Upmagic produced the game of the week. It was a roller coaster TvT with the momentum and advantage switching from side to side in the blink of an eye. Battlecruisers were everywhere, Yamato clones were awesome, Valkyries tore up wraiths, Goliaths tested their strength against BCs... oh it was awesome. You just have to watch the game!! Kal vs GGplay was like watching two crippled kids brawling around on the ground unable to punch properly. It was painful, long, drawn out, and abysmal. With these guys playing as bad as they did, Luxury and Jaedong look like sure bets to advance from this group.
Batoo OSL: Week 2 Preview
Day 1
YellOw[ArnC] < Return of the King >
Stork
Tester < Sin Chupung-Ryeong >
by.hero
BeSt[HyO] < Medusa >
UpMagiC
Kal < Tears of the Moon >
Jaedong

This night is unlikely to produce any epic counters like last week, but should produce games good enough to keep you entertained. Expect to see Jaedong tear Kal a new one, and he runs all over him on a fierce Z>P map. UpMagic should produce a fairly good game against BeSt, and in my opinion, will be the game of the night. Tester vs Hero is going to be slaughter; Tester can't play PvZ for the life of him and Hero is responsible for eliminating Bisu. I'm curious to see how Hero is going to play though, because thus far his play style has been somewhat difficult to pin down. This game should be a good indicator of what that style looks like as he will be the favorite and most likely the better player here today. Yarnc vs Stork should be fun and will be the test to see if Yarnc really is in good for or just raising everyone's hopes for nothing [again...]. I predict Yarnc will win, if for no reason other than Stork is terrible at the moment.
Day 2
Bisu < Return of the King >
July
fantasy < Sin Chupung-Ryeong >
Leta
Hwasin < Medusa >
Flash
GGPlay < Tears of the Moon >
Luxury

This night promises to be significantly better than the other game night this week. We have the age old clash between the MBC-deserters, July and Bisu, which invariably produces an interesting encounter. To follow up this, we have Leta going at Fantasy. Now fantasy already played a really cool TvT against Light in the Winners League which involved an epic Battlecruiser war, and given how this map played out last week for TvT, we might just see that again. Leta, though, is no push over and is probably the best TvT player in the world at the moment - so this should be a really entertaining affair.
Hwasin vs Flash is the rematch from their MSL confrontation where Flash was bested by Hwasin. I'm sure there is revenge on the cards, but given how well Hwasin is playing at the moment - all I see happening is a repeat of the MSL game. GGplay vs Luxury should be a real downer to end the night. GGplay isn't the best ZvZ player in the world, not by a long shot. Luxury, however, is probably the second best ZvZ player in the world behind Jaedong - I expected Luxury to run all over GGplay in a matter of minutes.
That is all for now! I hope you enjoyed the highlight videos and there should be more of those to come in subsequent posts. This season is going to be an experimental season where we try out new things in the post; the video coverage is one of these new things. Please leave any criticism/praise about the new style and the highlight video here and hopefully by the end of the season we have a new kickass format to pleasure you with.
