Liquibition 27 - Expansion
February 2nd, 2009 23:31 GMT
Is there anyone who can stop IefNaij? Just under a month ago, IefNaij became tied with person who holds the most wins in a row in Liquibition as he laid waste to HoRRoR, 4-0. As it stands, JF boasts the impressive record of 16-5 in Liquibition and recently won the Stamina tournament. He has also earned himself a cool $300 so far and will be playing for another $100 this weekend against none other than F91. The complete history of Liquibition can be found in the spoiler below.

Special Liquibitions Xmas Special - Twisted 4-3 Drone December 28, 2008 For those of you who don't know who ![[image loading]](http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/images/Zicon_small.gif) ![[image loading]](/staff/Plexa/Liquibition_S1/China.gif) F91 is, he is one of the top Zerg players outside of Korea, and arguably the best Zerg in China. In the recent IEF he went 1-2 against Stork and boasts an impressive tournament record. He made it to the Ro16 in Stamina where he narrowly lost out to CastrO, 1-2. On top of that he is a fan favorite and always produces fun and entertaining games. He recently joined up with the ridiculously strong Fnatic. squad and took part in the 6-0 beat down of the now disbanded MYM team, where he took out Dreiven 2-1. Without doubt, F91 will test IefNaij to his limit.
And what about IefNaij? He is the pride of Canada, the resident TSL champion, winner of Stamina and on track to win his fifth straight Liquibition match. He has slaughtered every single opponent we have sent his way showcasing his brilliant play on the way. As Artosis said in Liquibition #26, whenever there's money on the line, he steps up his game to a whole new level and becomes a near unbeatable force. After he slaughtered HoRRor many of you called for this matchup - and we have answered your call.
The players have decided upon the first six maps as per usual, and it is up to you to pick the final map. The poll for that will be up shortly.  IefNaij chose Andromeda, Destination and Sin Chupung-Ryeong. F91, on the other hand, chose Rush Hour 3, Blue Storm 1.2 and Andromeda. That means the map list for the first six games is as follows;
So who will it be? IefNaij or F91? You can find out this Saturday at 11am EST. That is, February 7, at 11am EST, 5pm CET, February 8, at 12am for China, 1am KST. Yes that's a lot of time zones, but hopefully it means that you will not miss this event, because if you do, Manifesto7 will personally come to your house and devour your soul.

I believe lefNaij take another set AND the record

Nice, been waiting for this.

I really don't know. F91 is really gosu. This is going to be probably the best Liquibition yet, IMO, as far as 'skill' is concerned. Really like the maps too, Sin Chupung-Reyung ftw :>

yeah f91!
Break the JF revolution.
|
Finally, a challenge for JF.

Oh wow, I am really stoked for this. Hopefully F91's style can produce some interesting games! Thanks, Plexa!
Do we know who's casting yet? Chill or Artosis would be pretty sexy.

Man, this will be an epic Liquibition, no doubt. 2 entertaining players to watch, and I really think F91 can break JF's ruling line if he is on top of his game.
|
I don't know if anyone short of Mondi can stop JF right now... but if there is a Zerg who can, it would be F91. gogo zerg fighting!

I'll be pulling for F91 though. Reppin' Zerg, reppin' China, it's all good.

I kinda want F91 to win just for a change of scenery. I'm torn because I want Mondragon to be the one to dethrone Iefnaij but if F91 is the one to do oh well.
