Man leta's game vs lux still has me going :O

He defiantly has more momentum right now than any other player, it's hard to think that he won' be in at least 1 final this season.

And see, all of you people (FAKESTEVE) who were saying that Leta is boring and uninventive, STFU. He is far and away the best player right now. Don't even try to tell me otherwise (see Bisu vs any zerg recently, Best vs Saint, Flash vs Fantasy, Jaedong vs Upmagic, Jangbi vs Anytime). And besides, after a certain point it doesn't even matter if he's "uninventive", all that really matters are the Ws.

Yeah, and Group G was the all-terran group. GET YO FACTS STRAIGHT MANI.

Seriously though, check your facts and do some editing. Major errors all over the place >_<.

Leta vs BestGod. Leta vs Jangbi, Leta vs Best. Flawed logic.

Leta vs Bestgod = map loss. The only terran really capable of winning on the map is Flash cuz he has a knack for playing on unplayable maps. Don't know why...

Leta vs Jangbi and vs Best was his (leta's) weakest matchup against the strongest PvTs in the game. Don't tell me my logic is flawed. Notice that in my examples there were no map losses and losses to dragons in there (no, anytime is not a dragon).

Your logic is flawed because you only accept map losses and losses to dragons as acceptable reason to lose. That is not true. You can't go, he lost to a dragon it doesn't count. But BeSt lost in his worst MU to Saint's best MU on a zerg favored map, it counts.

Oh this is also kind of wrong since Leta beat Lux after he beat Hyuk.

Luxury played Kal twice but the second time is not the loser's match but the final match

No it was
Kal<Luxury
Hyuk<Leta
Luxury<Leta Winner
Kal<Hyuk Loser
Hyuk<Luxury Final

Yes, Hyuk beat Kal. Although Lux and Kal played in the PL about a month ago.

Sure seems like it, which is why the "Age of Protoss" might be dwindling

IMHO a player should not concern himself if his play is boring. He should concern himself whether the build he has chosen is the strongest (gives him the highest chance of winning) possible on the map he is playing. It was like when Stork went reaver-> carrier every game. He felt that those builds were the strongest on those maps, when the pool shifted to andromeda/colloseum he went arbiter instead. Leta is just like that, the reason why he does so much different stuff on destination is probably because, as Idra has stated, standard TvZ is not very good on that map. He feels that his safe methodical style is the best way to play TvT, and the stats seem to support that notion.

The number of Terrans is low? There were 14 Terrans in the Ro32 compared to 9 each for Zerg and Protoss.

What the hell?

" Zerg Notes by zulu_nation8

As the only zerg who advanced from week 2's matches, Luxury claims centre spotlight for this week's zerg notes. In two quick games Luxury shrugged off Kal with an impeccably timed hydra rush build and some solid micro. Carthage, the map of the first match, has an unusually wide choke that makes protoss especially vulnerable to early zerg aggression. Luxury took full advantage of this weakness by executing a fast +range, 3 base 5 hydra build after spire which, using the room provided by the open choke to flank Kal’s front, broke Kal’s defense and ended the game before Kal could amass a ground army. The hydra break was excellently timed, and Luxury macroed perfectly. When the rush came, Kal needed a lot more cannons to defend successfully; he also lost a shuttle with a reaver carelessly as he tried to pull off some cute shuttle micro to hang on.

Kal vastly underestimated Luxury’s hydra count, and looked oblivious to Luxury’s incoming rush despite scouting it days before. Luxury's build seemed to counter the shuttle harass build quite nicely, but it also looked as though Kal could have stopped it easily with more cannons and safer play in general.

In the losers' match, both players opened exactly the same as the previous game. However because of Destination’s narrow, parallel chokes, Luxury chose to defend rather than attempting the same timing rush. Luxury’s hydra placement prevented Kal from harassing effectively. When Kal finally managed to sneak a DT into Luxury’s natural, Kal naively came out with a tiny army to try and expand. He succeeded only in getting demolished by Luxury’s massive hydra force, and then proceeded to lose his natural. I have no idea why Kal came out and put himself in perfect position to be flanked. He lost the game with one mistake, much like last game.

Congratulations to Luxury for joining Zero, Savior and Yellow[arnc] as the zerg players who've advanced so far. "

I am absolutely sure there werent 2 matches only the first on Chartage, the Destination ZvP was between Kal and HYUK, and HYUK WON!!

EDIT: Nevermind, i realized this was already pointed out, sorry

Nice write-up and much welcomed since I wasn't able to see the games myself. One thing, the expression is "coup de grâce" and not "coup de gras". "Gras" means "fatty".
