The first week of the GomTV Classic is over, and we've had some interesting results. Unfortuantely, most matches have been short so we are yet to see the newer maps being played on. With that said, let's see what's happened!
This week we'll be blessed with eight more matches. The third day of the tournament will include matches by the rising KTF zerg 815, CJ TvZ specialist Memory, and the original reaver whisperer Rainbow. On day four we'll have all the ACE players including The Emperor himself, DaezanG, and Mumyung. Perhaps the most well known opponent faced by the Air Force squad will be last season's top 16 player Violet.

We all know that GomTV is about giving back to the community, and after the first week they have gone out of their way to bring the Starleague experience closer to the foreign community. ![[image loading]](http://www.teamliquid.net/images/usericons/tlnet_staff.gif) lilsusie has conducted three interviews with the participants of the first week's matches, including a very interesting interview with a slightly dazed Tossgirl, and an interview with WeMade's youngest talent, Baby. Gom has also added two community threads where the community can put questions to either the commentators, or to the Emperor himself which will hopefully be answered in the coming week's play. There haven't been any questions yet, so if you ask now, you're likely to get your question picked!

Finally, you can now become friends with GomTV.Net on Facebook, by inviting them to be your friend. From here you can get updates on new events, exclusive pictures, and videos as they are released. So search for "Gomtv Net" on Facebook and invite them to be friends.
That's all for this week. I'll be trying to keep these updates short and informative without spoiling the matches, so that those who have yet to watch the matches can still enjoy their weekly fix. I'll also be trying to keep you up to date with any content Gom delivers specifically for the foreign community, as that is what makes the GSL stand out above the other Starleagues. Unfortunately quite a few videos dont finish for me. This began to happen at the end of last season but was quite rare. So far I havent been able to finish a Bo3 without one fucking up.
Its quite hard to motivate yourself to watch games when you dont know if you will be able to see the exciting conclusion.

I can't wait for the GomTV tournament to get to its later stages. English casting is awesome.
It's nice to see some fresh blood too. I'm enjoying watching the B-ranked players in the BO3 format.
