They have always been recruiting dedicated, likable players in the scene that they felt haven't reached their full potential yet. For example, HerO, if I remember correctly, when they took him over from oGs, was a very undeveloped player with no results to speak of, but great talent and therefore potential to grow into the strong player he now is. Same with Taeja. Sure, these two aren't tip top level players by current standards, but you cant deny that they match Liquid's ideals. We will see what the future brings and how they will develop. I'd rather have a team stay true to their ideals, rather than just look at results and pick up Koreans just to for the sake of picking up Koreans. | ||

Gratz! As for mentions that there are better picks to win tournaments... just wow, I guess. I think Liquid sees the path to a better team, scene, and business going forward... People don't all start at the top, and there are players who are amazing pillars of the community that have never won a major tournament. I get wanting to see a team win, but I can't help but get excited at seeing people getting a shot at living/continuing their dream and passion. | ||
