This event right on the heels of GSL finals is going to cause me to have 0 sleep this weekend, and it will be awesome to do so.

Can Mr. WarpPrism code up a 6-stream display for all the DreamHack action? And more importantly, could my computer handle it?

Is it a bad thing that I don't want Dreamhack to live up to MLG Columbus? Probably. Regardless this weekend is going to be spectacular from a viewing standpoint. THORZAIN JINRO AND HAPPY FIGHTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We've had crazy crowds in Dreamarena for years, the only problem is that they never make it big enough. Dreamhack>MLG in that area as well, sorry

Excellent write up =)

My personal upset watchlist:

A) Tyler

Sparks of form at the end of the NASL coupled with a need to really deliver, I think he'll be on his game here enough to give his group trouble.

B) Diestar

Dierstar seems to be almost perennially underrated, at the start of the year he was one of the guys making waves along with Kas. He's been quiet recently but showed up for the IPL S2 qualifiers and made it in by crushing TT1 3-0. Good across all the match ups and more than capable of making anyone in that group sweat.

C) I don't think there is one really, the top 3 will fight it out between them and that will be that. If I had to pick, I'd take Grubby. While his NASL results have been poor he has done well in a LAN environment, and has performed well in online EU cups too. Perhaps a cheering crowd will be the inspiration he needs.

D) Adel

He will bring some new stuff to the table, and if he holds it together mentally he can be a challenge for anyone in that group.

E) Tarson

Drifts in and out of people's thoughts because of how inactive he was for a while in the online scene, despite that he turned up to several LANs and put in a very solid showing. Excellent mechanics and smart builds, much like Diestar he qualified for the new IPL season at the first attempt when he trounced LZGamer.

F) Hasu

Not much to say, Thorzain and July should be favourites, Hasu and Sjow next in line, but Sjow has never seemed overly comfortable with TvZ while Hasu is solid across everything.


G) Goody

Slumped a bit post TSL exit, but getting back to winning ways with some strong performances online, including the already infamous ragequit from Drewbie. For all that he's maligned for the slow pace of his games and his mechanics, he's very steady with it and you'll need all your focus to get by him, Having watched Jinro lose last week in the iCCup nationvoice korean weekly (a tournament everyone should be checking out) in a very ugly game vs Clide's mech, I've got a hunch Goody could sneak a win against him and secure a place out of the group.

H) Mana

Mana is terrible at PvZ...there, I said it. With that out of the way, XLord's ZvP is no better so he should pick up at least one vs Z win. His PvT on the other hand is quite excellent, and while he might not threaten Bomber I think he's going to be a handful for Happy. Competitive group really.
