Beating morrow in an online cup is not the same as beating him in a big lan event. Look at kas, he performs excellent in online cups but so far he hasn't done anything remarkable at any big event.

The finals for Starwars were live, just all the matches that led up to it were like months before.
But I am pretty sure the finals were live oO, and only happened last weekend. So i don't really get that note.

As usual, excellent work on the tournament round-ups. There's just so many to follow without someone helping you!

1.) At how many big lan events did he participate? 2.) 2nd place at Copenhagen Games is remarkable

2nd place in Copenhagen Games, no?

haha oh wow. Protosser won the Finnish league.. I was actually called that during the first phase of the beta, just cuz it was the first thing that came to my mind while trying to be somewhat witty and wanting to play games asap :p
Edit: 1500 posts! Reaver motherfucker! ♥ :D

Mainly just due to the lack of big event presence, I'm pretty sure. I've been following him pretty closely since around the time I started doing the roundup. He's totally dominated some major online events lately though, so he'll be getting up in popularity soon. Nerchio's been emerging more and more. Even Kas' popularity didn't really explode until his TSL run, which funnily enough, I don't think he's been posting nearly as solid results since then.
Yup, its kinda hard for new players to get noticed , even after winning streak like Nerchio's. But judging from his winnings hes not worried about that at all. Thats a lot of money. I like to watch newer players to perform agains top dogs, It shows that even after 1 year of game they aren't as unbeatable as one may think, probably because of the game itself being as it is, but still thats another story.
Its also nice to see race representation at top 20 as well, and see how the metagame affects every month.
Big Thanks for Mikilatov for writting this and all the people who helped him!

Hi Nerchio. I think it will be really cool if you were streaming here on TL sometimes. You could make yourself some more fans and money ^^

I'd join both TLPD and Liquipedia, but this thing eats all the freetime I can spare. =(

Yeah they've got some crazygood players, I didn't even noticed the 20 medals thing. It's like 'team underground', with the exception of Kas, who himself was actually pretty underground until TSL3. Kas, Nerchio, Beastyqt, Happy!! What a beastly lineup. As far as online events go, I'd venture to say it's one of the very top performing teams. Some of their lesser knowns aren't bad either.

This times a million. Or wait. Don't! It'll end up taking up all my time! haha.

Added the aussie ones, but for some reason the formatting is REALLY disliking the flag and I can't figure it out. Unfortuantely I don't have the ability to seek out all of these flags and races for lesser known players that don't have TLPD entries. Thanks!
Oh and in case you're wondering, I'm still planning for the inclusion of KOTH... Perhaps for next edition (I think a FXO KOTH lands within the next 2 weeks?) The prizemoney cutoff is going to be quite high, so it's mainly just for the FXO ones or any other that has a staggering prize pool. This is so because they're a lot of work to track and report results of.
They will likely be considered 'showmatches' so they won't count toward the medals count or anything, as equal opportunities aren't really given to each player due to the play order.

But 5k$ for winner (=3500€) is still not enough imo, especially compared to halo or cod prizepools, not sure they bring the same amount of viewers/sponsors. (I know the prizepool/player is the same between games, but even so, 20k for halo and 5k for sc2 makes me sad)
well the halo prize money is spilt up to 4 ppl so its pretty much the same
