TL Attack this week will be with special guest ROOT.CatZ. He's the leader of ROOT gaming and is quite a creative Zerg player. He went to MLG Columbus last week and had a peaceful, ordinary weekend flying under the radar. If you want a chance to play against him, just log on to Bnet NA server and we'll be giving instructions on which channel to go to. Be warned: he will be using infestors.
TL Attack will be hosted this weekend by Chill and Day9. They will do everything in their power to distract CatZ from playing well. Kulas extreme and SC2BW may make an appearance as well.
If you don't get in, don't worry, we'll be streaming every minute!
TeamLiquid Attack is a fun, casual event where a popular professional StarCraft 2 player plays custom 1v1s against community members. Typically, the player attempts creative or non-serious strategies while sharing friendly banter with the hosts. People are confusing the Kulas Extreme map with one of the money maps TLO played on in the first TL attack.
Kulas Extreme is simply Kulas expect you start with infinite money and you have a high food cap.
The map people are thinking of but is not going to be used is Kulas with a lot of mineral patches (some gold) in starting locations and in other locations as well as rocks to prevent rushes and neutral hostile zerglings.
I hope CatZ plays Terran against a decent P or Z since Terran seems to be the weakest in Kulas Extreme.
Requesting a recording of all his fangirls screaming into a mic to be played during the broadcast, we all know he's a pimp. Though I'm a little sad that this TLAttack will be boring as getting Catz to do crazy shit he never does is just standard zerg.
When can we expect one on EU btw? That's 3 straight on NA. Surely most progamers have accounts on both servers anyways? I mean watching is fun but I'd really like to participate for once

Catz is on of my favorite zergs to watch because he is so creative, the pros on TL attack usually play non-standard so this should be very interesting. It will be uniqueness squared!
TL attack is at a good time for both eu and US. One improvement would be to swich servers some time. It would make the possibility to play more rare and special at the us server and it would also give opputunity for eu guys to play.
I'm most looking forward to the SC2BW section. There are tons of SC2 games streaming all the time, but SC2BW is truly novel and as far as I know, TLAttack is the only stream of it.
I'm getting significant lags (halts every 10-20 seconds and when it picks up the audio squeals "fast forward") on every quality. No one in chat mentioning anything though. Am I alone here?
It would be fun to add georgeopolis in tl Attack map pool plz. It's a very funny map with 4 random nukes falling on the map except on main and natural.

Yeah all sound effects are better actually, sound effect is the part where bw is objectively > to sc2. Ultras hatching sound is SCARY, archons attacking sound makes you want to run away, stim sound is awesome, unit dying sound same Cracklings attacking sound is so good :D
Honestly, sometimes these people who have NO IDEA what to do want to play. I understand people want to get involved in the community event, but seriously, if you have 9 idle workers be respectful, don't ruin the game, wait until they are playing a map you can be moderately successful on. I was hoping they would just instantly restart the game after you see that.

No I think due to the sc2 ui it shows the number of mines of all 3 selected vultures total. Well, I don't think the author would make mistakes like that.

I think the simpler for sc2 bw would be to ask some people beforehand, because it will be hard to get anyone decent if not. And you could choose the race and all... Well, in the case of catz, I think a C- + Show Spoiler +

I think July is the most accessible of the three, as he seems to travel more. But I would not say no to Nada, or Boxer, of course^^ That would top Sea as an invite.

Tho I still think that when they did TL Attack w/ Legionnaire people signed up in thread... but I could be mistaking and I can't find the thread... bad memory, what can I say?

Just a little feedback: - I like the sc2bw maps being played, although I never played BW - The hosts playing was a bit boring since you guys where to much into the game. If you do sth like that, have HotBid take over as the host/commentator - Have a smurf in the show again
