![]() The 'Garimto' Award for Player of the Tournament To the player TeamLiquid.net believes was the overall highest achiever in this OSL. The contenders should be obvious. I think this award should go to Iloveoov. Many already tipped him to be the winner of the previous OSL (which JulyZerg won) so he had something to prove this time around. Not only that but he kept making public promises on how he should win this tournament, putting an awful amount of extra pressure on himself by himself. He kept his promises though and made it all the way to the grand finals of the tournament where he met his teammate, mentor and good friend Lim Yo Hwan. This battle proved to be a battle beyond the game, straining both players to the maximum on the psychological battlefield. When the smoke cleared up there was one man left standing: Iloveoov. Even though he emerged victorious, a moment to definitely celebrate, he gave up his moment of glory to comfort his friend in need. A man truly worthy of the title 'player of the tournament'. The 'Mumyung' Award for Worst Player Who deserved to have been consigned to the rubbish heap during the Dual Tournament? Even though there wasn't really any true rubbish player around, I think Jju qualifies for the title, since he proved in the past (be it in other leagues) he can do so much better. Granted, his opponents were very strong TvZ players (Sync and Oov) and arguably the best ZvZ player (Gorush). The 'Boxer' Creativity/Inspiration Award Go with your gut feeling. Which player showed the greatest creativity or brightened the tournament with his flair and inspiration? Who else would deserve this title other than Boxer himself? Though Reach showed some class builds as well, Boxer sometimes just dominated with his builds (his Requiem TvT plays are so solid it almost seems like he's the only T player who understands that map). And who could forget the rushes he pulled off against Yellow in the semis. The 'Chojja' Missing in Action Award Which 'name' failed to live up to his billing and left himself with something to prove? Definitely Nada. In previous interviews he said he was changing his style (whihc did reflect in some games like the one vs Oversky) but he also said he was going to take the #1 KeSPA spot back. I guess he did ok this OSL since he did make it to the quarters, but doing ok is not going to cut it if you're up against Iloveoov. I think the runner up would be Kingdom who didn't even qualify for the next round despite his good performance last OSL and his brilliant performance in last MSL (which he could've won if he wouldn't have sold his games on Parallel Lines so bad). Game of the Tournament Which individual game was the most exciting or entertaining of the tournament? Or which game showed the highest skill? Before the semis of Oov vs Reach started I was wishing it would've been Nada v Xellos instead. Good thing that didn't happen because they took an awesome semi final series right off the bat. The first game was a grueling 40 minute long PvT, where Oov and Reach showed an awesome amount of macro. Oov sent wave after wave after wave of forces to crush Reach, but Reach countered with excellent storms while in the mean time destroying Oov's expansions, which he constantly put up. This really was 40 minutes of non stop action and a display of both player's macro abilities. The runner up is Nada v Oversky in Week 5 where Nada used a single Vulture to harass and kill drones and in the mean time expanding. Oversky proceeded to keep Nada at bay with Mutas and killed quite a number of SCV's and Marines in the process. But eventually it wasn't enough. Nada irradiated his Mutas and left his base with an insane amount of units killing almost all of Oversky's units in the choke where he sieged his tanks. The 'WTF!' Moment of the Tournament Award Which single moment rocked the tournament more than any other? Well I think there's only one moment in this tournament that single handidly stands out, even though it is not a WTF of rock but a WTF of shock! I'm talking about the Boxer v Yellow semifinals of course where Boxer demolished Yellow in record speed and had left everbody in a dazzled state, be it of awe or grief. I bet Boxer changed a lot of people's TV evening plans with his actions and a lot of negativity towards the games was projected afterwards. I personally think, however, that it really shows Boxer's strong mindset to win at any cost. Player Most Likely to Win the Next Starleague To the player TeamLiquid.net believes will triumph next time out. This is more difficult than the previous one, because it seems Oov's reign of terror is ending and people are catching up on him from all sides. There's a lot of really strong contenders now all capable of taking the much sought after crown. But if I really have to pick one it would be Reach. He has been so close the last two times that he really needs to pull through this time. He showed his amazing skill every time he played and I hope he will continue that in the next OSL ~Vader

To the player TeamLiquid.net believes was the overall highest achiever in this OSL. The contenders should be obvious. I will say BoxeR. Many ppl predicted a 0-3 loss but he made it to the finals, and could have won if he held his nerve and didn't make so many mistakes. The 'Mumyung' Award for Worst Player Who deserved to have been consigned to the rubbish heap during the Dual Tournament? None. This award belongs to mumyung, and there are few contenders for his throne. The 'Boxer' Creativity/Inspiration Award Go with your gut feeling. Which player showed the greatest creativity or brightened the tournament with his flair and inspiration? Boxer. Same reason as above. The 'Chojja' Missing in Action Award Which 'name' failed to live up to his billing and left himself with something to prove? Julyzerg. Not in a strong group, almost didn't made it out, and exited prompty soonafter. Game of the Tournament Which individual game was the most exciting or entertaining of the tournament? Or which game showed the highest skill? Many contenders this time round. Boxer's bunker rush, Boxer vs oov game4,reach vs oov game1, reach vs yellow game5. This OSL will be remembered as a classic. The 'WTF!' Moment of the Tournament Award Which single moment rocked the tournament more than any other? Boxer v Yellow. Beatened to death. Player Most Likely to Win the Next Starleague To the player TeamLiquid.net believes will triumph next time out. Boxer. Because oov might suffer from winner's curse, and also because I am boxer's fan :p
