GSL Season 3 Ro4 Foreigner Special: Liquid`Jinro By Xxio and Hot_Bid
P7 Game 1 - Steppes of War T1 + Show Spoiler [Show Recap] +Jinro opened 12 barracks, MC 12 gateway followed by 18 core. At 19 food Jinro hid a proxy factory in a nook near MC's ramp. MC chrono boosted a zealot out of his first gateway and sent it straight into Jinro's base just as a bunker started. 3 marines chased the zealot away but only took 13 health from it and not before the scv making the bunker was killed. A second zealot joined the first and MC sent both back up the ramp. Jinro defended with 2 scvs and 4 marines while building the bunker and sent the 1 surviving marine into the bunker as soon as it finished. A stalker joined the zealots and the units walked past the bunker to attack the barracks. Jinro pulled all his scvs and tried to hold as his marines built 1 at a time. In MC's base Jinro harassed the probes with a hellion but as soon as it was destroyed Jinro typed out. P1 Game 2 - Xel'Naga CavernsT7 + Show Spoiler [Show Recap] +Jinro and MC both made their first unit producing structure at 12 food. Jinro took his gas at 13 food, MC his at 15 before building a cybernetics core as soon as his gateway finished. At 30 food MC warped in two more gateways while Jinro, done researching concussive shell, produced marines and marauders out of 1 tech lab barracks and 1 reactor barracks. At 35 food he began building a 2nd command center in his main. Of MC's first 7 units, 6 were sentries. Around 38 food he started his 2nd nexus. At 45 food Jinro made 2 more barracks and 2 bunkers at the front of his natural. With 3 zealots, 6 stalkers, 7 sentries, and a forward pylon to reinforce, MC used guardian shield and attacked into Jinro's natural, just before stim finished researching. Using a total of 12 force fields MC split Jinro's units, prevented the bunkers from being repaired, and destroyed Jinro's 2nd command center. MC put a force field on Jinro's ramp and retreated back to his natural. 40 supply behind, Jinro pulled his units together and attacked. Jinro's infantry slipped by the force fields but they were not enough. Jinro conceded the game.
P11 Game 3 - Shakuras PlateauT5 + Show Spoiler [Show Recap] +MC opened 12 gateway, gas, cybernetics core. Jinro opened 12 barracks, 13 gas. Jinro added a tech lab to his barracks and immediately began researching concussive shell. MC made a sentry, then zealot as his first two units while, at 24 food, Jinro started his 2nd command center in his natural. Close to 30 food MC warped in a stargate. Jinro began two more barracks and scouted MC's base with a reaper, though missing the stargate. Jinro added a 2nd bunker to the top of the ramp at his natural but MC attacked before it finished. Scvs were blocked from repairing the full bunker with force fields as marines on highground shot at the 2 voidrays. Force fields on Jinro's ramp kept the Terran units split and Jinro soon gg'd.
P11 Game 4 - Jungle BasinT5 + Show Spoiler [Show Recap] +Jinro and MC built their barracks and gateway at 12 food. Jinro took his gas at 13 supply, MC his at 15. At 18 food Jang Min Chul built his cybernetics core as Jinro built a reactor and 2nd barracks at 16 food. MC made a zealot before sentry and Jinro, as soon as his 2nd barracks and reactor finished, built a proxy factory next to MC's natural and took his 2nd gas. MC started a 2nd gateway and twilight council at 27 food. At 23 food Jinro cancelled a tech lab he had just started on his 2nd barracks and began to build an armory. Seconds later, at 36 food MC warped in his dark shrine. 7 minutes into the game Jinro pulled half of his scvs and with 1 thor and 9 marines attacked into MC's main. MC warped 2 dark templar into the back of Jinro's base with a pylon next to the destructible rocks. 3 zealots and 1 sentry ran from Jinro's units as he stomped over a force field and into MC's main. Jinro immediately targeted the lone pylon powering MC's 2 warpgates, destroying it before additional dark templar could be warped in. Jinro started an engineering bay and bunker in MC's base while destroying the nexus and running his scvs from the dark templar to his units. MC destroyed Jinro's command center and built a nexus at Jinro's natural. Jinro did not have enough minerals to make a new command center and as soon as he scouted MC's base he gg'd.
TLAF-Liquid`Jinro Semifinals: The Aftermath Today certainly didn't go as you planned it. What are you going after to get your mind off the disappointing result?I was going to hit the gym and just do everything else Ive been too busy to do, but they asked if I wanted to go clubbing so I'm doing that instead. How would you describe what happened today? What Minchul always tells me: "You early game chobo, late game gosu." Also, I thought I'd need to take economic risks to get ahead macro wise, but it turns out vs what he had planned I'd been better off being super safe... oh well. Were you expecting him to play less aggressive?I expected him to cheese maybe a couple of times but generally play safe, yes. Game four was very close. What are your thoughts about it?Everything that could go wrong went wrong. I wanted to cancel the second barracks, with the rationale that him seeing two rax would cause him to make more sentries with whatever FE I expected him to do. Instead I missed the probe and it scouted everything. So I thought, whatever, he sees 2 gas fast he will think I'm faking for Banshee or something and make robo.... which is what he did in ro64 vs a fake 2 rax banshee... but he went DT. I knew going in this build auto lost to DT so it was frustrating. Even though you lost this round, did you feel you accomplished something this GSL? I guess so - all the people who came up to me after the game certainly made me feel like maybe I did. It was very nice and definitely made me feel better. You did very well for your first GSL, making semifinals and achieving Code S. What are your goals for the next season? Winning. You said you would stay in Korea as long as you achieved Code S and could compete in the GSLs. Does this result help motivate you?Yeah, but it will be more so motivating in a few days than it is right now. I don't like losing. You were defeated by your teammate oGsMC. Are you going to help him practice this next week for the finals?Yeah I cant imagine a scenario where he doesn't get everyones practice time. I told him he'd better win, or else . Will you be taking a break after this next week? A few days break where I do everything I havent been able to do, catch up on shows, and I can finally switch equipment. I bought a new mouse that I've put off using for a month now. Gym! You made the GSL very exciting for a lot of the international community. Any last words for your supporters? There were a lot of words of encouragement on the forums despite your loss. I really appreciated the kind words and everyone who came up to me after the games today, it really made me feel better. It was surprising to see sooo many Swedes there, I really wasn't expecting it and it felt good - I'll do better next time. Thanks for everyone who helped me prepare, sorry it didn't go better. I owe at least some of them some sam gyeob sal.
GSL3 Foreigner Postscript
Even though TLAF-Liquid`Jinro was eliminated yesterday, this season has been very successful for "foreigners" overall. A record number of international players attended qualifiers, and four succeeded in advancing to the Round of 32. We also saw the first ever non-Korean to reach the semifinals. With the addition of more foreigner team houses, we may see a repeat of Jinro's run in the near future. This concludes the Foreigner Special for GSL Season 3 -- keep an eye out for us when the GSL resumes in 2011.

Jinro is one of the nicest gamers I have ever encountered.. and he is fucking good to boot.
Nice run jinro Can't wait to see what the future holds for you!
It was a pleasure watching your games this season, Jinro. Looking forward to cheering for you in the Code S Tournament, as well!
"early game chobo, late game gosu" haha.
Jinro is the man. Next season will be yours!
These games were a shame but nothing to get down about as MC is a great player. There is much hope for foreigners! Great job Jinro!
Good job Jinro! Rooting for you next time! MC truly played amazingly, I am super curious to see what kind of strats Rain will go for and how those games will go. 8 day wait T__T
You obviously feel a bit down now and that ok. But you made this season of GSL incredibly exciting and your play has been a joy to watch. Thanks! And glhf!

Thanks for the fantastic games in this GSL, onwards & upwards from here!
I've been made a fan. Great play, great attitude: our new foreign hero.
Day9 would have me watch all the matches over and over again so I know how to beat terran's. I will shed many a tear when I see the gg tho
I was amazed that a swede that won MLG made it this far. maybe we do have a chance.
"early game chobo, late game gosu"
Jinro already knows what to do. He'll come back stronger than ever. HWAITING!
Good luck in the future, put on a great show this season
Thanks for great games Jinro even tho it did not work out in this set.
Really nice job Jinro, you're showing everyone that SC2 isn't only for Koreans!
Keep playing, and I'll keep cheering!
TL Fighting!
Thanks for govong so many of ua hope and smilea. Youve shown that you hav serious skills and talent. I think weve got a future gsl winner here.
:'( I really thought he could win this one.
maybe its even for the good he didn't achieve everything at once. winning mlg, qualifying for gsl, code-s and winning the whole thing could have been too much. now we can at least tell he'll be more than hungry next time. keep on HWAITING JINRO!
Next time you'll catch em all.. erm win I mean. You made this GSL better than any of the previous ones
Jinro fucking fighting!
He's going to stomp the Code S tournament.
win next season for us all jinro! was wonderful to watch *doffs hat, crys a little tear*
chin up jonathan. This is the best any foreigner has done since elky back in 2002 SKY osl
Congrats from Scotland Jinro. Been amazing watching you play.
still so amazing how far he got good job! nice recap to read since i didnt see vods
wow, he looks really pissed for that...
Anyways, I'm cheering for Chinro on GSL4 =)
Rip it up next year, Code S style!! <3
Aww, good luck next time!
Good summaries and everything, thanks!
Game 4 must have been very very intense, especially for Jinro... but hey, at least he got all the way to Semifinals. He's improving fast!
So is there still a 3rd place match against HongUnprime or does 3rd just go to whoever played the winner?
Jinro rules, next season we're going to see that bulldozer back and better than ever. Spinning rims and neon lights and shit on that thing.
It's always better to be late game gosu imho as opposed to late game chobo XD
Good run, Jinro! Hope you win the next one
become early game gosu and win ez
Nice run Jinro!! I hope you can go even further next time and best of luck in the Code S tournaments !!
Jinro is considered by some people to be the BEST terran in the world currently. I certainly think he is.
No cheese, no all-ins, just skill.
MC is a godtoss, and I feel like he could beat anyone right now. The only reason the series was lopsided is that MC specifically targeted a window of weakness in Jinro's builds.
Jinro, keep being the best terran in the world and when it comes time for Terran to win the GSL it will be you!
JINROO FIGHTIIIIIINNNNNNNNN' ! You just gotta believe in yourself ! We do. <3
Jinro is simply awesome, I love his style and I cannot wait to see him play again in the next GSL
On December 11 2010 11:08 Tohron wrote: So is there still a 3rd place match against HongUnprime or does 3rd just go to whoever played the winner?
There is no definite 3rd place at GSL, same as there is no definite decision for the other placements except 1st and 2nd.
And this ladies and gentlemen is why no foreign tourney can match GSL, we've had over a week of hype for Jinro, in the end he lost to a better player but in any other tourney it would have just been an hour or two.
Jinro you've earnt many fans this GSL and proven that MLG was no fluke, if anything losing here is in keeping with your style: Ever lasting progress, stable, secure and ultimately unstoppable. Just takes time.
Long live Jinro ! and may your Beanie be ever guiding !
Good show Jinro. You put on some very entertaining games that we all loved watching.
GL next season, look forward to seeing you kiss the trophy ^^
-Tha_Docta

Jinro came out of nowhere to be by far the best foreign terran around, and quite possibly the best foreigner around, period. It's been really nice see him make an impact on his seen and I hope he does even better in the next incarnation of the GSL.

Who knows, John said that there could be a surprise for the foreigners for the finals day (although not likely since that would change the prize structure)
On December 10 2010 22:42 Paer wrote: John writes on twitter "I know many of u r upset cuz jinro lost but you should still watch the final. There will be huge surprise for foreign viewers.not my speech."
What does this mean?
On-topic: Jinro played really well for this tournament and it's too bad he couldn't beat MC. However, a friendly rivalry between the two can only make you a stronger player.
You know what do to now, Jinro: practice more and win next time!
Good luck, man.
jinro! head up high! we will be rooting for you!!
I feel so proud! Proud of jinro, proud of beeing a "foreigner", proud of beeing a gamer, proud of being a part of this community. Basically proud of the entire gaming world! It's so nice to listen to someone like Jinro. Jinro makes me proud! Gl in the future mr. Walsh!
does anyone know what mice Jinro uses?
Sorry about your loss Jinro. I'm sure we will all see you at the top in future GSLs though, your play impressed alot of people. Keep at it and I hope to see you wrecking people soon =D.
Feel free to sulk for a bit Jinro, but don't do it for too long. Your run was amazing, so celebrate it more than be saddened by it.
Come back stronger and fight harder! We will still be here cheering for you!
A truly amazing show Jinro! Foreigners should be inspired by your games! Glhf Jinro hwaiting!
Keep your chin up Jinro!
Thank you for your amazing play through this season. You are awesome, and around the world people are cheering for you. You have inspired hope in thousands of foreign gamers!

Yeah it almost woulda been too early for a foriegner win. Next time he makes it to the semifinals he's gonna go all the way and excite the world! Jinro Hwaiting!!!! GL Jinro, we <3 you.
I hoped for you Jinro, even tho you didn't make It to the end. But you'r participation in GSL was Superb! Really fun to watch.
Visa dem nästa år vem som bestämmer!
that's what happens when two amazing players face off, let alone tha fact that they're friends: no matter what is the outcome, you'll allways be sad because they're both good
It's a sad loss number-wise perhaps, but he gave it a good fight and rather like this to a really good (not to mention pleasant) player than some of the other scenarios. Amazing run Jinro, nobody would have believed it in your first GSL, looking forward to seeing you in the next one.
And yeah, MC'd better win it lol. Not that I'm doubting it.
It was so frustrating to watch these games, oGsMC got the BO advantage every single game and ended it with his first push. Jinro didn't even get the chance to play his game
I can't even imagine oGsMC losing the finals.
It was a great run by Jinro nevertheless. No koreans will take foreigners lightly after this.
Nästa GSL är ditt!
You did very well for your first GSL, making semifinals and achieving Code S. What are your goals for the next season?
Winning.
Badass.
Jinro, you are the man. Both for repping foreigners and macro style terran - don't let a loss to MC get you down. Right now, you are one of the best starcraft players on the world, and probably the best or second best terran. I have full confidence that this finish - which is fantastically better than I would have hoped for - is just the beginning of your long and successful career of play sc2 for a living.
Jinro fighting!
Jinro as badass as JINOUGA
Next tournament, Jinro will win for sure :D
Man, Jinro and MC are just sssoooooooooooo awesome!
And it's even more awesome to see that they are such good friends! Along with the help of some friendly rivalry between them, everyone will soon realize that there's only good things to come from that relationship!
Good job Jinro! Keep up the good work!
I shed a little tear for Jinro, but I feel like he will be one of the most consistant players in 2011. 4-0 is a tough way to go out (and mostly on BO losses).
You have a fan for life. Gorilla terran fighting!
Wonderful play throughout the tournament Jinro... No shame in losing to MC, he's amazing. Best of luck in future seasons!
jinro/idra make quite the pair =p
Jinro definitely showed potential through-out the tournament to be the winner. Good luck in the next season, mate.
Mr Jinro:
Thanks for giving me a solid player to cheer for all the way up to the semi-finals. Your game is fuckin' beast and I am confident you can kick ass all the way to the finals next time.
I am very proud of Jinro and I hope he will stay and fight in Korea for a long time.
We're proud of you Jinro! Your methodical Terran play really set you apart to everyone watching. Have a happy holiday break, you deserve it!
don't be disappointed Jinro, you have made history in Starcraft 2. maybe you dont realize that now...but you have... next season you will make it further just dont let the fame and glory change your honest ans simplistic character.....
Very wp and super gg
Jinro,
You're a boss, you're getting better at an exponential rate and you're going to keep growing. Can't wait for code S to start!
`Liquid Fighting!
Great run Jinro, hope the mouse is helpful and you take it all the way to the top next season!
best wishes to you jinro, your tvz and tvt are my favorite parts of sc2 period
fight MC over and over to improve your tvp and become 2011 champion
as in the champion of the entire year

I'm going to call him winner for season 5, instead, with a good showing in season 4. Obviously I have nothing to back this up, I just felt like making a vaguely-plausible prediction about everybody's favourite Terran. However, we're definitely in agreement that Jinro is a badass.
In all seriousness, Jinro, you did fantastically well in this tournament. Considering who you lost to, it's clear that you have nothing to be ashamed of. You're now arguably the most successful foreigner in SC2 (in terms of best GSL placement and GomTV's point system), and we all expect amazing things from you in the future. (But we love you no matter what!)
Jinro fighting! And for now, MC fighting!
great job chinro, you should feel proud.
congratulations jinro. you were, imo, the 2nd best player in this tournament, and it was simply your misfortune to run into the first. you're not just a great foreigner, you're a great sc2 player, period.
Jinro, ur by far the best foreigner, and one of the best sc2 on Earth right now. Be proud, and remember the whole community on TL is behind u!
Hopefully the loss doesn't drag on you too long!
Help MC win GSL, then start getting ready for next season! Can't wait!
Jinro your honestly most impressive terran i seen in GSL3, I know you can get far in the code S tourny please keep up the great work!
Jinro is such a hero!
Its going to really bum me out if every single player divebombs Jinro with allins for the rest of all GSLs =[
Jinro, great run! I hope you repeat your success next GSL. But I have to admit, those games MC played really opened my eyes about PvT.
I'd like to say thanks to Jinro for taking the time to sign fanart and take pictures with everyone after the games.
Having watched all of the GSL, I can safely say that you're a step above every other Terran and the only reason you lost was because MC is 2 steps above everyone.
You may have lost, but you've accomplished what has never been done before. Keep it up, Jinro!
It was a pleasure Jinro. It's games like that ones you play that makes me say to myself, SC for life!

I don't have/play SC2, I have the SC2 sidebar minimized when I browse TL, and I don't watch GSL... but I couldn't help reading all these newsposts the entire time and cheering for Jinro anyways. Really cool to see a foreigner do so well, hope this is just a glimpse of better things to come
Jinro bro, I was seriously about to cry when you lost your OC in the Thor rush game Better luck next time aye

RO4 is truly a huge accomplishment for the foriegner scene. Jinro should be proud for pushing the limits of what non-Koreans are capable of in the Starcraft scene. Maybe some of the other foreigners will be motivated to do better as well!
As for the finals themselves, gawd MC had better win. If Rain wins I think I'm going to cry myself to sleep.
Great job Jinro, I'm sure we'll see you at or near the top for many years to come.
you did amazing in this GSL, Jinro :D i'm looking forward to code s !

I wanted to thank Jinro for achieving so much and giving us hope for the future of foreigners in Korea! I'm sure you'll have a great year 2011!! Also thanks to TeamLiquid for the very nice coverage! I couldn't watch anything because of work but the great Battle reports and recaps helped a lot over that. And a thank you to the translators! I really appreciate your work which is fast and accurate. You bring us the Koreans a bit closer!

It would have been exciting to see Jinro in the finals, but his performance in this GSL is nothing short of amazing.
Excellent play Jinro, and I'm looking forward to watching you play in the future!

it was an amazing run and a treat to watch. Best of luck in the class S tournaments!

Damn, if only he wasn't so hard on himself and realize he accomplished so much an gained so many fans doing so.
Go Jinro!
You're the foreigner hero right now, and MC's right, after you'll work on your early game you will be an almost unstoppable force.
I was sad seeing you go against MC, since I really think you desereved being in the finals this season
Considering beeing early game chobo, making it to the semi finals in the cheesefest that has been the GSL is quite remarkable and only shows that there is alot of hope for the future.
I <3 your play Jinro, you're a beast!
JINRO HWAIiiiITING!!!1111 ~~

Comparing this achievement with the one elky did does not make any sense at all.
Great job Jinro, can't wait to see you play again next season!
Jinro is still the boss in all of our hearts!
Awesome work Jinro, been chearing for you since GSL season one and was so happy when you qualified for S3. And when you got S-class i was exstatic, and then to make it to R4 is just unbelivably good.
Do not let the loss get you down, MC is slightly ahead of you at this time and was able to tailor his play towards your play better than you. Next time could be different. Regardless, you have earned a die-hard fan here.
The fifth and final GSL Foreigner Special covers... hey guys in future can you please leave this out of the title as it spoils the outcome without even opening the post

GL in the next GSL's Jinro, and good job to make top 4 8) And make sure to take some time to enjoy korea ;D

Great run man, secretly watching GSL at work ftw!

Gl Jinro we will be there to cheer for you =D
Jinro made me root for a terran with all my heart, didn't see that one coming. And not only because he is a swede and really cool guy, but also his playstyle is very entertaining too watch.
Thanks for making GSL3 so exciting JINRO!
gj gl, Jinro! Best and most entertaining terran in the GSL
Next GSL is yours Jinro
Great work Jinro. I cant wait to see you take MC down in 2011
i think it was kind of good that jinro lost here to his friend (albeit quite a big loss). it shows him his weaknesses and will motivate him to improve his early game. cant wait for next year GO SCANDINAVIAN THOR!
I missed this cause my stupid alarm didn't wake me up. XP next time he makes Ima just host a party till 4 AM.
What MC said about his early game seems like a wakeup call for Jinro to work on something. He is amazing and I hope to watch him for a long time. =D
Such an impressive run, Jinro. We are all so proud of you! Enjoy your days off, and the best of luck in 2011, I am sure you gonna do great once again
Jinro is awesome. Can't wait to see him smash faces next season!

Jinro already knows what to do. He'll come back stronger than ever. HWAITING!
Such an interesting problem for someone to have. Most people seem to have the opposite issue where they prefer to end the game fast due to insecurity about their chances going into the late game. You can certainly tell Jinro really worked on becoming genuinely good at the normal stand-up macro game that everyone loves to see. He didn't take the cheesy shortcut-allin route but in doing so perhaps missed certain skills that are needed in the early game.
Either way, excellent showing and I can't wait for next year.

Great run! Seeing a foreigner, no less the man formerly known as FA, pull a run like this is especially inspiring and heartwarming. From a more or less remote place in the world, I couldn't help but have this always on my mind.
Awesomeawesomeawesome
Jinro has to be one my favorite terran players. Definite improvement for all foreign players at GSL. i only hope we can see more EU and NA players next season great run JINRO!
"i told him to win, or else"
haha jinro rocks!
and if MC loses to Rain cmon... it would only serve to encourage all in bs
Jinro your the best Terran many of us have ever seen.
You've given us non-koreans something we've wanted to see for a very long time with this amazing run of yours Jinro. I had a blast cheering for you, and I hope to see you back and better than ever.
Best of luck in 2011.
Jinro, grats on code S, best of luck, going to be watching you for a long time!
really hope people dont start only cheesing against him to stop his late game GL in code s jinro i <3 youuuuu...
this is my first post on TL but i have lurked for awhile. jinro's success convinced me to pay for the premium gomtv, and despite him not winning the entire gsl, his run was really inspiring and i hope that he can keep his head up. we're really proud of you!
Next time, you will win :> Good job!
You have lost to your teammate in the semi-finals. It is a sign of his strength, not of your weakness.

You gave us a helluva run Jinro and as exciting as it was I can't help but feel even more excited about next year and to see how you've improved.

Brought one of those with me, but it caused a lot of problems whenever I tried to use it. How're you finding it though?
Hey Jinro,
Take a look back at how ecstatic you were during the interview after you got into Ro4. Now you're not sure if you've accomplished anything? I know you got crushed pretty hard, and that has got to feel awful for a while but you're in an incredibly strong place. Think about it this way:
You're probably the strongest Terran user on earth right now. You only have one obvious hole in your game, but since you lost to abuse of this weakness in on a huge stage every opponent in the future will try to use this against you. This is totally OK though, because you have incredible teams to practice with to close this hole.
Look at how far you've come since you went out to Korea. You went from "B team" to S class. The strongest TL. You did this, as you said, by working with Ret on macro and strong solid play. Now work with people like MC, TLO, etc., the crazy aggressive people, and learn to protect yourself from that. The only reason MC was able to break you so hard is because he knows you too well. He may have won, or he may have lost otherwise, but he knows your current weaknesses because he fucking lives with you. Next time, use your cheese build in the second game instead of the last when your opponent knows you will because your spirit is crushed. You have the potential to be a champion. We're all proud of you, and your path is clear.
Congratulations on Ro4.
You would have embarrassed both of the users on the other side of the bracket.
Amazing job Jinro, it's totally insane how quickly you went from being the other TL Terran into becoming one of the elite players in the world. Take some time off to get refocused and catch up on things you've been putting off, maybe even go see your family and such. You've got game and the support to become the best, so keep up the good work and know that we are all proud of you and rooting for you.
Jinro is a fucking scary good terran, he will be able to find out how to win it in the code S.
I have a lot of respect for Frozen Arbiter. Unlike most other Terrans, he doesn't try to all in. He knows it's possible to play a macro based game, and manages to do so. Definitely my favourite Terran in the world.
Well done Jinro, you gave hope to all non korean players out here, keep your hard work and keep improving, but also don't forget to party a little when possible . You are a true hero.
Don't be disappointed Jinro. You did amazing, I'm sure you can win a GSL next year! Remember, practically the entire world besides korea is behind you on this!
i hope protoss will win the final and ppl finally stops crying about how under powerd protoss is.
I see a lot of people making "Jinro wins next GSL" predictions, so I might as well give my own prediction: "Jinro amongst the first to drop from GSL Tier 1". And this should not be taken negatively, it's just an opinion.

did you see some of the names in there ? a lot only made code s during s.1 when play was at a ridiculously lower level or with qualifying over 3 seasons luckily and losing horribly in the tourney ro64 or 32.
there's easily 10 worse players than jinro in code s and seeing as how he could improve so much in only 2 months of practicing with OGS and TL guys, then adding on the practice time he's gonna get with the other foreigners that are coming to korea till the next gsl (EG etc.), it's highly unlikely he's gonna drop from code s before the first 2 tourneys -at least- are done with, even with all the time other people have to practice till gsl4
i do find it equally unlikely he's going to win any of them, true, but one can only hope
GG jinro

remember FD in s.1 ? MC is, atm, even more ahead of everyone else than FD was in s.1, and the game ain't so new anymore either. so don't bring balance into discussion here please - unless you were ironical

Great run Jinro, you proved that it's not impossible to win big in Korea! Next time you will win! Jinro hfighting!
Well Done Jinro! Thanks for the great games, it was alot of fun watching them all. As a zerg, your play makes me want to switch to Terran and play them Jinro Style. Best of luck next season!
Next time you get far, I'm definately going to look into flying over to South Korea and watching the games live!
JINRO HWAITING!
