I don't know about traffic to djWHEAT.tv, and that's not too accurate either as I tell everyone to embed the stream for our shows and events, which is always hosted on other sites. We average about 250-350 live people at one time during the show, and that's peaked to 900, 1000, 1100 before depending on the show. That usually means a few thousand people per live show, upto around 10k if its a big show. After that, VOD's get a lot of traffic, also depending on the show. Our live events (QuakeCon, Devastation) drew 500-600,000 uniques during the weekend, had 5,500 watching devastation concurrently and 10k or so watching quakecon. We do pretty well, but we have a looooooooot in store for the near future that will be much better :D. And I would destroy Dan in knowledge :D. Dan obviously has me beat on SC, but I try to keep upto date on every scene (QL, SC, 1.6, SF4, TF2, Wc3, WoW, Halo 3, CoD4/MW2, etc) | ||

"if only XXXXX happened esports would thrive and all these youtube commentators / tournament organizers would get rich and players would run around being pro" lets be honest, even the most successful esports have a large majority wasting their time (money wise), just play for fun and if money comes fine. www.honcast.com is pretty cool in this regard. Have fun first and if you win a TSL or whatever, fine. | ||
