Great stuff! Thanks for the translations and the stats. Even though they aren't a clear indicator of things to come, they are helpful and very interesting, especially how similar each team's R1 and R5 records were (besides SK and KHAN which changed quite a bit in opposite directions).

I'm expecting some great stuff this season with some of last year's newer "stars" taking more of a center stage position this season (my interest is especially at CJ).

I'd also like to see some more consistency (also could read "dominance") from players in all leagues. In other words, I'd like to see less players burn bright and fade away like match sticks. We need some more steady torches!

Stats lean towards KT and STX this season -- can't say I'm not hyped for that. I'd be really on board either team taking a proleague title, since both deserve one and both are good enough to take it.

great article, but I think you've greatly exadurated the whole "lots of new faces" thing. Almost all teams are fielding their best lineup. Surprisingly you kept saying SKT1 is "coming out guns blazing," but not really at all. bisu/fantasy yes, but 2 Zergs on day one? No canata? No best (at least on day 1)? guns blazing?

Really nice write up. Wemade fan at heart but i just don't think they have what it takes atm to be PL champions, so I'm rooting for STX Soul to take it this season. They have a really nice lineup with a new ace zerg who is a fresh MSL champion.

Way to start the hype, guys!

I reallty think this season will be closer than the others. The "good but not great teams" like KT, STX and Hite seem to have improved. On the other hand, Hiya and BackHo seem to be even worse thant usual, so OZ will probably have a hard time. And SKT's strength being Tosses, they should struggle on this mapset. So I think spots 1 to 6 will be only be determined by a couple of wins in the entire season.
Can't wait for this to start!
