To Finland... Assassins with Ice Picks? Caller, it's like 25-30 degrees during the daytime in Finland. Come on, those polar bears on the streets are getting old.

Man, if the same amount of people are going to be inactive every day...

I guess Ace wasn't on here in time to change the lynch? That sucks, although I guess Vivi should have claimed earlier. It's a pretty big blow to, instead of losing just one person, to lose a total of like 8 people out of which only one is an Ukrainian Rebel.

Caller this deservers a better explanation from yourself. Since they were accused for being double accounting they deserve the same respect if they were found not guilty. You cant pull the trigger and then make like nothing happened. Grow some hair.

Quite simple really:
I was told that they had the same IP.

I proposed a test to make sure that the two weren't from the same library or something: PM both of them with a fake PM "notice" requiring a response, and see when and what their responses are.

I got the same response from both of them at the same time. That was when I decided to take them out of the game, as MountainDew was in the election and I felt it was proper to take action when the game itself could be at stake. It would be bad if there was double accounting, and one of them was mayor. It would be even worse if both accounts were on different factions, as the game could easily be fixed. Although in retrospect the action was probably hasty, I felt that it was the only thing I could really do to ensure that the game didn't become overall broken.

So the thing is that "they" pledge to be two different people but it cant be confirmed? Well at least its a little more clear now.

If they were housemates it would have been easy for them to communicate their roles anyway which could have led to an unfair advantage. It's prolly for the best in the end anyway.

two of the most well known players of TL mafia are twins, and live together, should we be ban them from each game under the same pretense?

18/63 gone. 5 townies a NKVD and a single Ukrainian gone.

I'm going to chalk this one up as a loss.

It's only 18 gone if you count the people Caller cut out before he started the game. I'm doubt that Caller would've actually handed out roles and started making cuts right away. I'm assuming the game is balanced for 56 players, in which case, this is just a crappy start, but we're fine.

Not sure if the exchange was favorable, but it looks like it wasn't.

Do we have any idea of how many agents we have left? Or how many rebels, commisars, medics, etc. there are in total?

I'm posting this on Foolishness's request because he got banned from the mafia forum (lolol). Thankfully that will be restored when Plexa gets back.

They are 2 different people, it should be abundantly clear by looking at their writing styles and content. Nobody should have any doubt on this. If you do read MountainDew's posts and look at Foolishness's posts from previous games it's pretty clear that one guy is a high level player while the other is very raw and frankly not very good.

Caller basically jumped the gun and instead of asking around and looking at a variety of evidence, just went up and banned them solely on IPs/the pms which don't say anything (this is why town loses at mafia lol). Then when notified that they were innocent he refused for let them back in for who knows what reason.

Caller you're a good guy and I know you mean well but you can't pull stuff like this in the first place and you especially can't try to be a bureaucrat and cover your butt after it happens.

They deserve a full explanation and a clear exoneration. Mistakes happen, but don't try to cover them up or minimize them.

P.S. Foolishness didn't know MountainDew was his roommate.

A good friend of mine (whom I trust implicitly) knows Foolishness IRL and vouches for him. This is good enough for me. He did not cheat. I will stake my reputation on it.

Eh, dunno which friend your referring to, but Ver vouces for him, whom I trust implicitly on a matter like this so I like qatol, throw my reputation on it. Caller, you should have just accepted that he wouldn't cheat, or ask them directly if they knew anyone from TL first.

Yeah it's okay. I don't want to make a big deal out of it, just want to make sure that

a) Everyone knows they are innocent

b) they get an apology

Foolishness said he's fine with sitting out, just wants everyone to know he didn't cheat.

Okay, I'm concluding all discussion of the Foolishness:

I fucked up.
Foolishness didn't do anything illegal or wrong per se.
Next time though he should PM ahead of time to let people know if multiple accounts are present, otherwise people might do this shit again.
Stop discussing it, or else you "might" be quietly removed from the game.
I trust Foolishness' voucher as well, despite the fact that I have no idea who it is. The fact that someone is actually vouching is enough.
I fucked up.

End of discussion. Get back to the blatant trolling.
