BUT! With our current level of technology! We have discovered a way for you to send messages to the future! (It’s called “pen and paper”) You can submit messages to the hosts to “send to the future”. You have a maximum of five messages per night. You must specify the following: - Message contents - Approximate time for the message to be posted (e.g. N2+6 hours, D3+32 hours) - Time must be at least one hour before or after the deadline All messages will be anonymous and posted by the hosts. The research team have achieved a massive breakthrough! Time Travel has been researched successfully! During the day, you can go back in time and steal one use of a dead player’s role. Passive abilities and one-shot abilities that have already been expended are not included. Items and quests are also excluded. A stolen role can be used starting from the night phase following the day phase on which it was acquired. Stolen roles may also be stored for later use. Rules governing the dead player’s ability use will apply. You can only use each stolen role once. You can only use one stolen role per phase. This is in addition to your existing abilities. The Gods deem a Change in Play Government inspectors preparing to condemn an old, abandoned tavern have salvaged a magical item from the dilapidated building. An Ouija Board, an artifact that permits communication with otherworldly beings! Each night, one poll question may be submitted to the Ouija Board along with a maximum of five answer options to pick from. There is no restriction the content of the question or answer options. (Please do keep question to a reasonable length -- no WoTs -- and simple options.) To facilitate this, hosts will run an election in the voting thread. To become a candidate, propose your platform in the voting thread. State what poll question you would ask, and what answer options you will provide. ##campaign Poll question…? Option 1 Option 2 Option 3 Option 4 Option 5 All players have one vote with which to ##elect: the “ouija board representative”. Voting is not mandatory. The Gods deem a Change in Play The traveling circus is pleased to announce that its widely-renowned carousel has been repaired and has passed all checks required by the safety inspectors! During the day, players can use the carousel by typing ##board the carousel in the vote thread. All actions performed on carousel-riders during the following night will be randomised and redirected to other carousel-riders. All actions originally targeted at one individual player (say, playerA) will be redirected together onto another individual player (say, playerB). In the event that only one player boards the carousel, they will compulsively use all of their own available actions (but not items) onto themselves. This does not include mafia KP. This overrides any restrictions on the number of abilities that can be used per night by the solo carousel passenger. Players can only attempt to enter the carousel once per day. Passengers on board the carousel can choose to kick someone else off the ride using ##eject <target> in the vote thread. Ejection from the carousel is determined by instant majority among passengers. | ||

And so the Kingdom has been administered by a regency council, a committee of nobles, while the two claimants to the throne grew up. Neither heir has a particularly strong claim, being distantly related to the late King. But each of them are supported by a faction of nobles who wish to see their respective candidate on the throne. (And to reap the political benefits, of course.) And then there are also some nobles who view both heirs as illegitimate, and seek to seize power for themselves. It is in such political climate that the two heirs have come of age. Now ready to claim the throne, they have arrived in the capital of Laz, to stake their claim. But they are new here, and it is difficult for them to know: who among the nobility are their allies and foes? And so begins the backroom dealing to determine the next ruler of the Kingdom.
