Scum motive: he attacked you, and figured it would come out anyway? Town motive: transparency about what happened. I find the town motive more believable. Especially as his claimed action (hitting someone who looks pretty towny to almost everybody) doesn't line up with the movements in the list. He didn't even have to claim hitting you, he could have claimed hitting btdt and it would have made more sense. But scum motivation is not unthinkable. As scum in a heavily themed game, it tends to be a good idea to be upfront with everything you can plausibly explain away as scum, so watchers, trackers, role cops and other such shenannies don't catch you out. If he hit you and feared you being watched or so, then claiming makes sense. Skynx is a newbie and would not come up with this by himself, so this would mean some heavy coaching is going on in the scum chat. The only players in the game conceivably capable of this level of coaching are HF, WoS, you, and me. Maybe koshi? DI, Kurumi and BM are all capable, but far too lazy to do so. | ||
