Tradition on TL is that you post nothing when the host says roles go out so except for the popcorn symbol or pictures of popcorn. You post nothing else until the daypost goes up and then, Day 1 officially begins.

Pompey and Marcus hated each other with a passion, and were only held together by Caesar's words. The Triumvirate was able operate for some time. However, Due to Caesar's great success in Gual and Britain, Pompey had been growing jealous. And, the ties between Pompey and Caesar had already been broken via Pompey's wife (Caesar's Daughter) death years before. Pompey began gaining favor with the senators during this time. Then in 53 B.C., Marcus had died, due to a defeat in battle where he was captured and killed. The Trinity of power was broken. The Triumvirate was over. The year is 50/49 B.C. and with senate support, Pompey has been chosen to be sole consul of Rome. Caesar's last term is slowly running out. You are However, he still commends a major force that you believe could threaten Rome. The senate has decided to send a decree, demanding that Caesar disbands this force. Time later, Caesar has responded, by sending his own letter. He states that he will disband his force, if Pompey disbands his army as well. You and your peers are outraged! What privilege does he have to make demands like that? You and your peers decided to write up a bill, forcing him to disband it. The bill is written up, and then you begin to vote for it. You hear that 2 of your peers, Marc Antony, and Quintus Cassius Longinus, vote to veto the bill. The bill is passed, and these two supporters of that traitor will be dealt with by being kicked out of the senate. Their ideas will not be missed, however, you cannot help to wonder if they will aid Caesar. Time pass, and Caesar apparently has heard the news. He declares that the senate made an illegal bill, since he is still co-consul with pompey until his term runs out. Caesar and his forces apparently are marching....Towards Rome! Pompey plans to March out, deal with these pests at home, and the republic will repeal this traitor’s attack! A battle is almost certain. You are a senator of the Roman republic, serving the republic every need. While you hate to speculate, you have to admit Caesar must have forces inside the republic and the senate, allies that he will plan to use to his advantage. You and the other senators agree that everyone should be looked at and examine, and if need be, executed. You will all use a voting system to determine this, as you cannot be sure of anyone's alignment. Day 1 has now begun! You have till .
